Transformers Toys: New Information] Nostalgic Toys Become Fully Movable Toys! The first in the "Missing Link" series, Convoy, is now on sale!

Information on new "Transformers" items that will be available for pre-order in August 2023 has been announced!

Introduced here is the first installment of the new "Missing Link" series, which will be launched to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the birth of Transformers! The Missing Link, which claims to be a virtual reissue that may have existed in that era, is sure to satisfy old and new fans alike!

Missing Link C-01 Convoy

What if the original Convoy had been fully posable? The size, texture, and nostalgia of that time have been kept intact in a completely new design, based on the image of "What if the original Convoy had a fully posable version?

The size, deformation pattern, and basic construction using some die-cast alloys follow the first generation Convoy toys, while the articulation for posing and gimmicks depicted in the anime have been updated to create the ideal Convoy Commander toy.

Even the packaging and accessories are a thorough homage to the style of the time, bringing back the excitement of opening Transformers products back in the 80s, even more so than the reissued versions. The replacement of the fist, which was a regrettable part of the products of that time, has been reviewed, and complete transformation is possible without removing the fist and storing it inside the figure. In addition, each joint, which was limited in posing at the time, has been changed to movable, allowing the figure to be freely posed.

Matrix can be stored in the chest as a reproduction from the anime scene. The newly designed fist has movable fingers, so the matrix can be removed and held in the hand.

The anti-aircraft cannon in the container can be detached from the container and rolled around just like in the anime. The reconnaissance buggy "Roller" can be flipped back to reveal the warning light depicted in the anime.

The laser rifle has been changed from its original grip to a fist. The "Energy Axe," a weapon that made a strong impression in the opening image of the anime, is also included and can be attached to the fist.

Also included is a red transparent "secret film," which can be deciphered by overlaying it on the specs chart printed on the back of the package. The well-known "secret emblem" is also attached to the main body of the robot, and when heated with a finger, a corps mark appears.
The robot's main body is sculpted from the original stickers that were used to represent the mechanical parts of the robot on a flat surface. A joint hole for a stand (sold separately) has been added to the back of the Convoy, allowing it to be displayed in an action pose. Two new user stickers for the number plate have been added to reproduce the box art of the Japanese version and the box art of the overseas version, and a newly designed collection card is also included.

Missing Link C-02 Convoy (Anime Edition)

A yellow user sticker is added to the bumper section to more closely resemble the image of the anime.
