The latest in the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series, the completely new theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," has been announced for a nationwide road show starting January 26, 2024 (Friday). To commemorate the theatrical release of the new film, a trailer for the theatrical version "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED & SEED DESTINY Special Edition HD Remaster" has been released.

A new project "GUNDAM SEED PROJECT ignited" of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series, which will celebrate the 20th anniversary of TV broadcasting in 2022, has started.
The "GUNDAM SEED PROJECT ignited" is a project to implement various measures for the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series around the world, with a focus on the already announced theater production. The latest work in the series will finally be released as a completely new theater version, "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," on a nationwide roadshow starting January 26, 2024 (Friday).

Special Edition HD Remaster", a special compilation of the TV series "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" & "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY", will be brought back to the screen in commemoration of the new movie's theatrical release.

The film, which will be screened consecutively for three months from August 25, 2023 (Friday), is a trilogy of 48 episodes of the TV series "SEED" depicting C.E. 71 and then 50 episodes of the TV series "SEED DESTINY" depicting C.E. 73 and then 4 parts, which are set in C.E. 75. The story follows the trajectory of the latest film, "SEED FREEDOM," a seven-part series, which will be screened for two weeks each at about 50 theaters nationwide.

This time, a trailer (60 seconds) summarizing the drama and highlights of "SEED" and "SEED DESTINY" leading to the new "SEED FREEDOM" has been released.

The first half of the trailer begins with the message "Two stories leading up to 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM,'" followed by the "SEED" part of the trailer. In the chaotic times, best friends Kira Yamato (an Earth Alliance pilot) and Aslan Zara (a ZAFT pilot), who are reunited on the battlefield, clash again and again in their quest for justice! What is the world they see at the end of their intersecting feelings?

In the second half of the film, we move on to the "SEED DESTINY" part. Two years after "SEED," the world is once again caught up in the ravages of war. Shin Asuka (ZAFT pilot), a boy who has lost everything, is led by fate into the battlefield. What will he do with the power he has gained, and who is the real enemy? His will to fight will change the future.　The last part of the trailer leads the viewer into the world of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" with the voiceover: "And a new story begins.

The "eve of the festival" will feature Soichiro Hoshi, who plays the role of Kira Yamato, the main character in the film, as a guest speaker.

It was also announced that "special postcards" will be distributed to all attendees at the advance screening with a stage greeting.

＜PROLOGUE
C.E. (Cosmic Era).
The C.E. (Cosmic Ill.) is an era in which the human race is divided into two groups: those born with superior physical abilities and brains through genetic adjustments (the "Coordinators"), and those born naturally (the "Naturals").
Ideologies of the "Coordinators" and "Naturals" clashed over their own existence, leading to a war using military force.
In the midst of the war, the "Destiny Plan," a system to create a world without competition by forcing each individual to take on a role, was proposed, but in order to protect the free future and hope of mankind, the "Destiny Plan" was rejected in the midst of the war.
The war came to an end at the cost of many lives, but the conflict and hatred between the two races of mankind continues to smolder in various parts of the world.
