A Thanksgiving Party will be held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV anime "Kaleidostar.

The TV anime "Kaleidostar" produced by Gonzo is a coming-of-age anime in which the main character, a 16-year-old girl Sora Naekino, aims to become a "Kaleidostar," a star of the stage with her own guts and natural talent, in order to stand on the stage she remembers seeing with her late parents. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the broadcast.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of this work, a Thanksgiving Party will be held under the title of "20th Anniversary Monosutsukkou Thanksgiving Festival! The event will include a music festival and five other events. I wanted to do something big for the 20th anniversary year.
Twenty years is a long time for a work to be forgotten, but some works grow unexpectedly as the years go by and the number of fans increases, and "Kaleidostar" is one such happy work.
The production of the full-length anime was unforgettably grueling, but even after the show finished airing, new developments such as "Sugoradies" and OVAs were realized thanks to the incredible enthusiasm of the fans, and I felt the appreciation spread by word of mouth, which made all the hard work of those days worth it.
Perhaps it is because it has become easier to watch the show through distribution and other means, but I am also happy to see people on social networking sites who have recently seen the show and liked it. I think it is a miracle that the power of everyone who supports us has made this possible.
If such a circle of people is growing, I am sure there are many people who would like to do something about it, not only me, but also our staff and others active in the industry, and we have come up with an unexpectedly big project.
Now that we are celebrating our 20th anniversary, I would like to bring together all the people who love "Kaleidostar" and create a fun memory together.
