1. Use underground dungeons to increase the number of specific Pikmin

Although it is possible to obtain the corresponding onions, finding them is also a challenge.

For those who want to increase the number of specific Pikmin but do not have the onions to do so, I recommend Pongasigusa, which is located in an underground dungeon. When Pikmin are thrown into Pongasigusa, they change to the same color as the grass. Although only five Pikmin can be placed in each Pongasigusa, if the dungeon is a post-clear dungeon, the player can select a level with a Pongasigusa when entering the dungeon, leave the dungeon after adding Pikmin, and then return to the same level.

2. Watch for enemies you are fighting for the first time with players and otchins.

The first native creatures you fight are very dangerous, as you do not know how to attack them or what their weaknesses are. If you take Pikmin with you without knowing how to fight them, you may suffer heavy casualties. So, let's first approach the target with the main character and otchin and observe how it moves.

While riding on the otchin, the player is less likely to be attacked thanks to the increased movement speed. After getting close to the target, move away from it to provoke an attack, find the right moment to attack and the opening to break away, and join up with the Pikmin when you have a good idea of what you are going to fight.

3. Freeze enemies in bodies of water with Ice Pikmin!

Even if an enemy is too large to fit on the screen, if it is in a watery area, freezing it with ice Pikmin will work. Not only will the enemy itself be frozen along with the water, but unlike the normal method, there is no time limit. In other words, you can attack unilaterally without any loss of life.

However, dozens of ice Pikmin are needed to freeze the water. If there are not enough, return to the base before the battle to increase the number of ice pikmin. The ice Pikmin onions can be obtained in the fourth area, "The Hidden House of the First Star," which is the first area to be released.

4. Feed bakudan to enemies that stick out their tongues.

The item "Bakudan" is particularly effective against some protozoa such as Dememadara and Verochappy. You can attack them by simply throwing it near them, but if you time it so that they try to swallow you whole, you can make them swallow the bakudan itself. The protozoa that are attacked from the inside will be greatly frightened, so this is the perfect time to attack them all at once with Pikmin or Occhins.

Since the attacker must get close to the attacker in order to guide the attack, the Pikmin in tow may be caught up in the attack. If you want to make your opponent swallow Bakudan, it is better to move alone or try it while riding on top of the OCHIN.

5. The more Pikmin you assign, the faster you can carry things.

The speed of carrying otakara and protozoa increases with the number of assigned Pikmin. When sunset is near or when you just want speed, you can assign more Pikmin than usual.

However, you want allies with great power on their own, such as purple Pikmin, which have the power of 10 Pikmin in one, or Occhin, whose power is enhanced by their skills, to carry as much heavy weight as possible. It is a waste to have a strong person carry light items that only one Pikmin can carry. Keep in mind that the right person is in the right place at the right time, and have your strong allies carry heavy objects as much as possible.
