Sonic Superstars, a completely new entry in Sega's high-speed action "Sonic the Hedgehog" series, will be released on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

PlayStation5／PlayStation4／Nintendo Switch／Xbox Series X|S／Xbox One／PC（Steam／Epic Games Store）"Sonic Superstars" will retain the playability of the 2D side-scrolling "Sonic" series, while evolving it with 3D graphics. Sonic Superstars" is a completely new high-speed action game that retains the playability of the 2D side-scrolling "Sonic" series, but evolves it with 3D graphics.

The new adventure of Sonic and his friends Tails, Knuckles, and Emmy takes place on the mysterious "North Star Islands," an island inhabited by giant creatures. They use their new "Emerald Power" ability to fight Dr. Eggman and Fang, who are plotting to capture the giant creatures for their own ambitions.

In addition, this is the first offline multiplayer title in the series, allowing up to four players to play the story mode in cooperation, and the "Battle Mode" can be enjoyed both offline and online.
