As the first of a new anime project of "Jibaku Shonen Hanako-kun," whose TV anime was broadcast in January 2020, the short anime "Houkago Shonen Hanako-kun" will be broadcast on TV and distributed globally in October 2023.

Jizoku Shonen Hanako-kun" is currently serialized in the monthly "G Fantasy" magazine by Aida Iro. It is a heartwarming lavatory comedy in which the "occult girl" Yahiro Nene hears a strange rumor that the wish of the person who summons "Hanako-kun," the third girl in the third floor girls' restroom of the old school building of Kamome Gakuen, will come true. In January 2020, it was adapted into a TV anime and gained popularity.

The first new anime project for this work will be a short anime "Hanako-kun: After School Boy Hanako-kun" to be broadcast on TV and distributed globally. The short anime will focus on the story of "Hanako-kun," an official spin-off comic of "Hanako-kun," and will be broadcast and distributed for four weeks starting in October 2023, featuring the loose, everyday life of Hanako-kun, Neinu and the others.
