Free "Monster Rise: Sun Break" Update Available Today! Lots of content including additional monsters and new event quests!

The free title update (Ver. 16) of "Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break," a very large expansion content for "Monster Hunter Rise," was released on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" is a super-sized expansion content of "Monster Hunter Rise. Centered on the observation base "Elgad," which investigates monster anomalies, new monsters called the "Three Dukes of the King's Domain," the kingdom's greatest threat, and monsters returning from the series will appear one after another.

⇒The game is a new game that is a must-play for all players, and is a must-play for all players! New elements such as "Master Rank" and "Allied Quests" are all around!

A free update (Ver. 16) for this title was released on August 24 (Thu.).

Yvelkhana, the Binglong

An ancient dragon that freezes everything in its path. It is also known as the "Binglong". There are very few official records, and its ecology is still a mystery.
It freely manipulates cold air and releases a cryogenic breath, causing huge icicles and walls of ice to appear in an empty space. The power of this cryogenic breath is so great that it can ice even large monsters. Yverkana can also be seen freezing pterodactyls, which is believed to be an act of territoriality.
The quest for Yverkana is available at MR 10 or higher.

Amatsumagatsuchi, the storm dragon

An ancient dragon that manipulates the weather and evokes storms. Also known as a "storm dragon. It stays in the air by riding the air currents generated by its flying membrane, and its leisurely drifting appearance makes it appear as if it is flying in the sky. The storm it wears is as powerful as a calamity, turning its surroundings to ashes. Because of this threat, in some places it is referred to as the "Great Calamity. When Amatsumagatsuchi shows its true power, the storm that surrounds it intensifies in intensity, and lightning pours down around it.

Mel Xena, the carving of the primordial

This is the primordial Mel Xena before it was invaded by Curia. Normally, Mel Xena acts like a knight, skillfully handling its wings and tail, but when Curia begins to invade its body, it changes completely and begins to use them to hunt down its prey. Shagar Magara, the Overcoming Puppet

This is a celestial dragon that bears the name of "puppet overcoming. It overcame the outburst caused by Curia and gained great power.
Due to its influence, an eerie pattern appears on its body surface. When the release of the mad dragon virus increases, a widespread viral explosion engulfs the surrounding area. Tossed prey will be overrun by the winged legs. Furthermore, when the koryu's rage reaches its peak, its body surface glows and it transforms into what is known as a "puppet ki pulsating state.

<Expanded Puppet Investigation Quest

In addition to the regular Master Rank quests, an EX★8 Puppet Investigation Quest has been added, featuring the puppet transformed "Gore Magara, Moaning in Chaos," as well as the powerful puppet dragon "Balfaluk, the Overcoming Puppet" and "Shagal Magara, the Overcoming Puppet.
This is a very difficult quest, so let's challenge it to test our skills!

*A new quest will be added to the "Puppet Quest" as you raise your puppet research level.
When you raise your research level, a new quest will appear in the "Puppet Research Quest".
You need to hunt or kill the monsters corresponding to your rank in the MR quests.

Expansion of the level limit for the Puppet Research Quest
The upper level limit of the Puppet Investigation Quest has been raised to 300, allowing players to enjoy more tense battles with monsters.
New puppet-altering materials can be obtained to expand the level of each weapon's puppet-altering item, so take on the challenge.

A new quest mode for skilled hunters: special quests.
Special Research Quests are quests that can only be attempted by skilled hunters. After completing level 300 of each Puppet Quest, quest recipients will receive a special quest that allows them to take on a monster of the highest difficulty and strength only once per quest.
By completing many special defeat quests with different main targets, special greatness badges can be obtained.
Various enhancements have been confirmed for these special quests, including monster attack power and breath attack range. The challenge awaits the hunter who says, "I am the one! The challenge awaits the hunter who says, "I am the one!

Slot reinforcement is a new addition to armor puppet refinement.
