A sequel to the "Kimi ni Todoke" anime series will be produced, and "Kimi ni Todoke 3RD SEASON" will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix in 2024.

Kimi ni Todoke," written by Karuho Shiina, was serialized in Shueisha's "Bessatsu Margaret" and has been a hit, selling a total of 36 million copies (paper + electronic). Set in Hokkaido, it is a coming-of-age love story that carefully depicts the frustratingly sweet and sour feelings of love, friendship, and family among high school students.
It was adapted into an anime in 2009, and a sequel, "Kimi ni Todoke 2ND SEASON," was broadcast in 2011.

It has now been announced that a sequel will be produced after 12 years, and that "Kimi ni Todoke 3rd Season" will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix in 2024. In addition, a teaser visual, congratulatory illustrations and comments from the original author, Karuho Shiina, and cast information were also released.

The re-animation of the series after so many years must be a great surprise to everyone who enjoyed the anime back then. I was one of the people who enjoyed it back then. I was very surprised and very, very happy.
I was able to observe the postrecording, and Souko is Souko and Kazahaya is Kazahaya. I couldn't believe that more than 10 years had passed, and I was so moved and moved by the wonderful performances of the cast members.

I was happy, surprised, and panicked at the same time.
It is a work that I have a strong emotional attachment to. I cherished every moment of playing the role, so I was a little anxious when I heard about the opportunity to play the role, wondering if I would be able to remember that feeling.

Q2: A message to your fans
At this point, we have already recorded several postrecording sessions. When the cast gets together, they all have great personalities!
And they are all very strong! But when I stand in front of the microphone and listen to the lines, I naturally feel nervous and relieved.
I remember meeting the teacher and hearing his strong desire to work with this cast, and I was very excited. I will do my best to deliver the best original story with the best anime, so please enjoy it. I hope you will enjoy it!
