PS4/Switch "BLADE ARCUS Rebellion from Shining", Promotional Movie Released! Theme song is "Soul of Rebellion" sung by Soichiro Hoshi

Sega Games has released a new promotional movie for "BLADE ARCUS Rebellion from Shining" for PS4/Switch, scheduled for release on March 14, 2019.

BLADE ARCUS Rebellion from Shining" is the latest 2D fighting game that brings together popular characters from Sega's popular RPG "Shining" series.

In this title, six characters from "Shining Resonance Refrain" join the fray, bringing the total number of players to 21 in a dream tag-team battle!　In the story mode, players can enjoy a new story linking the two worlds of Alfheim, the ancient continent, and Endias, the dream continent, in full voice.

On the system side, the exhilarating action of tag team battles is maintained, while the newly added "Character Skill" function and the increased volume of the "Art Gallery" make it even easier for even those who are not good at fighting games to play and continue playing!　In addition, the long-awaited online battle has been implemented, making it possible for fighting game fans to enjoy the game even longer.

The new promotional movie introduces the gameplay scenes and stories of the six characters from "Shining Resonance Refrain," the new "Character Skill" system, and network battles. Soichiro Hoshi, the voice actor who sang the theme song for "Shining Tears" and "Blade Arcs from Shining" and also appears as Rage and Zest, has been chosen to sing the theme song for this title. Soichiro Hoshi himself will compose the music for "Soul of Rebellion. The lyrics and arrangement of the song were written by Mikio Sakai, who also wrote the song "Hikari" for "Shining Blade". Soichiro Hoshi and Mikio Sakai have teamed up once again to create a hot song that symbolizes "BLADE ARCUS Rebellion from Shining".

I am pleased to have composed and sung the theme song for "BLADE ARCUS Rebellion from Shining". I asked Mikio Sakai to write the lyrics and arrange the music!　Although the theme of the song is in the vein of our previous work "Blade Arcs," this time we aimed to create a refreshing song despite the grueling battles, with themes such as "battles that can be fought passionately and without logic" and "a good feeling that lifts the spirits. We hope you can feel the spirit of this song and enjoy the exciting battles in the game as well!
