⇒[ Anisama 2023 Report] RO-KYU-BU reunited on the day of the Japan National Basketball Team game! The final day of the event opened with a divine set! Let's look back on the first half of Animelo Summer Live 2023 -AXEL-DAY3!
In the second half of the live, six members of Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club, Akuri Onishi (played by Ayumu Uehara), Mayu Sagara (played by Kasumi Nakasu), Akari Kito (played by Kanata Omi), Maria Sashiide (played by Emma Verde), Chiemi Tanaka (played by Rina Tennoji) and Akina Hougen (played by Tamaki Kanegarashi) appeared on stage to a huge A loud cheer went up. First, they sang "Wachugo etc." (the theme song of the anime "Nijiyon Animation") and made a lot of noise with their voices, and then they started the series' customary chorus (call and response) self-introductions. The audience was enjoying the choruses as much as they could here, and I think the loudness and unity of the Anisama audience is something to be proud of.
The audience got even more excited with the final song, "Just Believe! to end the show with "Just Believe! The lyrics of this song say "full throttle," so it fit this year's theme perfectly, and the six members enjoyed using the stage widely. I would have liked to hear more, but the stage reminded me of the fun of getting together with everyone.
halca started off with "Dareka Scramble" (OP of the anime "Engage Kiss"). It is a fast-paced rock number written and composed by Tomoya Tabuchi, and the live performance recreated the music video for the song. Halca, carrying a suspicious bag, sang the song emotionally while adding meaning to the theme of Anisama, in which she escapes from her pursuers on a trolley at full throttle. Next was a new song, "Love Millimeter Film. From the second number, the three cast members who participated in the event appeared on stage! They performed as "halca feat. Amamiya Ten & Higashiyama Nao & Serizawa Yu.
All three of them appeared with hairstyles that matched their characters, which was also a good sign of their love for the work. When they finished singing, everyone gave their impressions in their respective character's voices, to which they responded, "Thank you all very much. It was interesting to hear him say, "It was just a happy time for HALCA.
Next up was the anime "BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!," which is also known for its depiction of heavy relationships. The band MyGO!!!!! from appeared on center stage. The band, whose musical style seems to be unique among the "BanG Dream!" series, first performed "Mujiya" and "Kageiro Mai" as a medley. The noisy guitar started the song "Latent Expression," a rock song in a storytelling style. The vocals were emotional and piercing. This is truly alternative! This is underground! I was quite excited, but I was numb to the aggressive musicality in the animation industry.
Good evening everyone, we are MyGO!!!!! We are MyGO. We hope you'll get excited!" They ended the set with the punky "Ichizuku Sora" (from the anime "BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!" OP). OP). It was interesting that this unsteady and lost feeling was also expressed in the sound. Still, I could sense nothing but potential in the vocals of Hina Yomiya (played by Takamatsu Toh).
Yui Ogura performed her debut song "Raise" (from the anime "Campione! ~Matsurowanu Kami to Kami Koroshi no Maou~ ED) as she sang her debut song "Raise" (ED of the anime "Campione! Last year marked the 10th anniversary of her solo debut, and the amazing thing about her is that no matter when or where you see her, she always delivers a reliably high performance live. Her rendition of "Raise," which she has sung several times at Anisama, was even cooler. Even though it has been 11 years since her debut, she is still gaining more and more brilliance. Next, she sang her latest song "Himitsu ♡Melody" (OP of the anime "My Yuri is a Job! OP), which she performed while dancing lightly with two dancers. It was wonderful how she expressed the feelings of the main character of the lyrics not only by singing but also by her facial expressions during the falling chorus, and the wink that was glimpsed on the screen, etc. The stage was full of her charm.
Then, as a surprise, a special Anisama-only unit from the TV anime "Asa-chan's Sailor Suit," the Ligature Academy Junior High 1st Grade 3 Group, appeared on stage. The four performers of the day, Manatsu Murakami (cv. Manatsu Murakami), Erika Kizaki (cv. Ten Amemiya), Toruko Usagihara (cv. Akari Kito), and Tomono Furushiro (cv. Utone Wakayama), took the stage to sing the OP theme "Hajimari no Setsuna". It was very pleasant to feel her fresh singing voice blowing through the venue amidst the fresh sound of youth.
Next, Kana Hanazawa sang "Even if it's not dramatic" (OP of the anime "Kubo-san ha Boku wo Koshunai"), a sad pop tune that evokes the feeling of adolescence. Although it was hard to imagine from her orange one-piece dress and gentle singing voice, she first introduced herself with a haughty "RO-KYU-BU! She was the one who first introduced herself in a haughty manner at RO-KYU-BU! But it is this variety of expression that makes her so appealing. The Anisama band's performance of this song was also wonderful, with strings and brass adding a dramatic touch to the song.
During the MC, she soothed the audience by saying, "This song has a message that any simple everyday life is very important, even if it is not dramatic or romantic, but today is a dramatic day..." She then talked about the stage of RO-KYU-BU! Then she said, "I hope you enjoy my voice," and went on to sing another song, "Gray" (ED of the anime "Dark Gathering"). I listened to her one-of-a-kind singing voice with various charms: majestic, sad, fragile ......, and her crying guitar solo was also wonderful.
ASCA started the live performance with "Rinne," the ED theme for the second season of the TV anime "EDENS ZERO. In the middle of the stage, she sang the song, "I'm not afraid to live," and she put her thoughts and feelings in the song firmly into the song.
They sang "I'm not afraid to live" in the middle of the stage. I'm going to meet you all at full throttle." They performed the intense and emotional rock tune "Howling" (OP of the anime "The Lesser Students of Magical High School: The Visitor Arc") on a trolley. The speed of the trolley was fast enough to ignore the legal speed limit (?) of the Saitama Super Arena. The audience held up their red penlights and ran through the venue in a figure-eight formation, ignoring the legal speed (?) of the Saitama Super Arena. The audience raised their red penlights and shouted "WOW WOW" enthusiastically.
Yuma Uchida jumped high in the pop-up. Shake! Shake! Shake!" (OP of the anime "Kai Sick Doctor Ramune"), he united the Anisama audience by waving his hands from side to side in a big gesture. The dancers and the audience were dancing happily and smiling as they performed.
The dancers were smiling as they performed the song "Do you like anime? Do you like anime songs? I love it too! She then asked the audience, "Can I have you give all of your love to me? Can I ask you to go beyond your limits with me? and ended with a rousing rendition of "Over," the ED theme song for the TV anime "Ahiru no Sora! The audience shouted "Oh, oh, oh-oh-oh-oh" as the song ended with a powerful message, "Let's get up and go forward again and again. The audience shouted "Oh, oh, oh-oh-oh-oh," pushing themselves to the limit. The live performance was a condensed version of "Yuma Uchida's charm," with light steps and acrobatic performances in the middle of the songs.
Moody piano music echoed through the venue. Amemiya Ten sang bewitchingly "TRIGGER," a song she wrote herself, along with a gorgeous performance by the Anisama Band with strings and brass. The song is filled with the essence of her favorite songs, and she puts on a flawless show. She participated yesterday as TrySail, and on this day, she was very active on stage as various characters, but she showed her charm on her own stage as well.
During the MC, she excitedly asked the audience, "Are you excited about Anisama? She said, "The theme of this Anisama is "Axel", right? So I brought some rock songs! Can you go full throttle! and performed their debut song "Skyreach" (OP of the anime "Akame ga kiru! OP")! The audience was excited. Her cool expression and her broken smile after the song was over were both wonderful and attractive.
Konomi Suzuki performed "Love? (OP of the anime "Love Flops") and enjoyed the music with the audience. Her powerful singing gives the impression that she sings powerful songs, but her cute voice and performance are also her strong points. However, the theme of today's show was "Accelerate" and the second half of the show was a lineup of powerful songs. In particular, "Bursty Greedy Spider" (from the second half of the anime "KUMO de desu desuka, nanika? (OP of the second half of the anime "KUMO desu desu Dareka?"), everyone shouted out and got excited. The audience chorused "WOW WOW WOW" with them many times between songs, and the band even asked the Anisama band to speak up and eventually asked the lighting crew to respond with lights, which was a bit of a crazy move to get the audience excited.
After the band had performed their popular song "Redo" (OP of the anime "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu"), they said, "We had a great time at Anisama! Thank you!" and left the stage with the audience excited.
The last performer on the last day of Anisama was Oishi Masayoshi. He started with the song "Gift" (OP of the anime "Neighbor Tenshi-sama ni Neighbor Tenshi-sama ga Mukonen ni Nai Hitori Hito ni Tame ni Mukonen"), followed by the appearance of Urya, who was dancing with him in the music video and who can only be called an angel, She performed with the Anisama Dancers.
He deserves a lot of credit for bringing jazzy and funky music to ani-songs and making them songs that everyone can get excited about. So he must be a very great artist, but during the MC, the audience lovingly shouted "go home. Apparently, this has become the promised communication.
I said, "It seems you have an accelerator to step on even though you are coming to the big show?" and receiving an acoustic guitar from the staff, everyone already understood the next song to be played. Oishi Masayoshi's Anisama began with this song eight years ago. I still vividly remember that moment!" he said, and played the famous intro with a jingle and sang "Kimi ja Dakidasamae" (OP of the anime "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun"). Yes, the funk feel of this song was new. The gorgeous brass sound enlivened the song, and the audience sang along loudly. It really is a great song.
I thought a lot about what kind of song would allow me to get on the gas with everyone," he said. And I came up with an answer. A song that makes you step on the gas pedal is a song that makes you call and respond to each other. I was thinking that I had recently written a song full of choruses..." He then sang "Sign is B - Eye Solo Ver! Since the song is an insert song from the popular TV anime series "Mysterious Child," the audience gave the perfect call to the song.
I'm 43 years old and I won the big show at Anisama! Even in my 40s, my dreams come true!" He said, talking about himself. Ten years ago, I made my debut as an ani-song singer, but before that I was a J-pop singer with no aspirations. I thought about quitting music many times, but then I discovered ani-songs, and after standing on this stage 8 years ago and seeing this view, I decided to keep on doing music. And thank you so much to Anisama for letting me continue that dream," he said. I just wanted to stand here and dream. I just had a dream standing here. I want to do a one-man show at Saitama Super Arena this time! He added, "If I call a meeting, please come! Yes, we're in an alliance now, aren't we? He made a perfect connection to the next song. This MC is really too good, but the way he brings it all together is very professional! The audience's spirits were lifted as they sang "uni-verse," the theme song for the movie version of "Gridman Universe. The song, as grand as the universe itself, is a great song to sing in a large venue. Having seen the movie, it even brought tears to my eyes. At the end of the song, the performers appeared on stage and everyone sang together in a big circle! But then there was one more song. The theme song for Anisama 2020-21, "What a Colorful World! written and composed by OISIMA SAYOSHI with Anisama Friends. A song for when you can't do your voice, sung at a venue where you can do your voice. What a chic setlist! The last song was "heartbeat-axelator," the theme song of Anisama 2023, which brought all the performers of the day together and brought the "Animelo Summer Live 2023 -AXEL" to a close.
The three days were filled with ani-songs. Three years is a long time, and some people may have forgotten how fun it is to perform live, and some generations may not even know how to perform.
So, I thought that now was the time to remember the enjoyment of live performances, but this Anisama was not about gradually getting back the joy of live performances! This Anisama had the passionate spirit of "Let's not get it back gradually, let's get it back at full throttle! As I had hoped, the festival was a place where people could enjoy the joy of live music and the wonder of ani-song.
And the performers who responded to this theme for three days were also reliable. I hope that next year's festival will offer even more wonderful scenery.
