Pushing the limits of capsule toys! Cars & Camping Trailers Mini Plastic Models for Gacha! This month's issue features new products from Stand Stones [Wacky Kaizan's latest Gacha adventures No. 79

Let me start by informing you of a gacha exhibition that I am cooperating in exhibiting! Until September 24, 2023, my hometown, Miyazaki Prefecture, is hosting an exhibition at Tohoku Electric Power Company's Green Plaza in Sendai entitled "The Fifth Boom Arrives! Gacha Gacha: A Collection of Gacha Gacha, Then and Now", an exhibition looking back on the history of capsule toys is being held at Tohoku Electric Power Green Plaza in Sendai, Miyazaki Prefecture, my hometown.

The first boom began in 1977, when supercar erasers became very popular, and continued until 1983, when Kin-Keshi was introduced. The second boom started in 1983 when Kin-Keshi appeared, and the third boom started in 1994 when the color-colored realistic figures such as Bandai's HG and Eugene's SR series appeared. The fourth stage was in 2012, when Kitan Club's "Fuchiko-san" appeared. And now, with the birth of specialty stores such as "Gashapon no Dekaten (Gashapon Department Stores)" and the emergence of capsule toy makers, we would like to call this the fifth boom.

At the Gacha Exhibition, the history of capsule toys and items representing each era are on display. Please also refer to the "Wacky Kaiyama Gacha Channel," which is delivering the latest videos every day!

Now, without further ado, let's take a deeper look at one more manufacturer. This time, we would like to introduce a new product from "Stand Stones.

The company's gacha are very intricate. The mini plastic models in particular are a test of dexterity. Even those who have made many plastic models in the past will scream at the fine parts, and when you finish the model, you will be able to enjoy the maniacal gimmicks and details that will make even the most experienced enthusiast drool. There is so much information packed into this small capsule that it is impossible to contain it all. We hope that you will take the time to try it out. Here is a robust review of two such items.

C Car Craft 1/72 scale gimmick kit Skyline RS (R30) & GT-R (R33), all 6 kits, 400 yen

What's up with this hot ......? The scale is also indicated, and the style of the kit is like a plastic model. What's more, it has a gimmick! Oh, oh, oh! Two types of Skyline that even car lovers are excited about! This lineup is super exciting!

The "1983 RS (R30)" comes in three versions: gray/black two-tone, white, and red/black two-tone. The red/black two-tone version is the recommended color scheme, which is especially popular among racers.

The machine is completed by assembling 31 parts. The "RS-TURBO" engraved in gold letters near the side sill of the body is a sight to behold. The muffler part is painted in silver as well.

Wow, wow, wow! The light part is a separate part made of clear material! The side mirror parts are too small and giggly~! Aren't there one set of tires too many? I thought so, but they are either genuine or external tires with compliant specifications! The body and tires are ball-jointed, so they are movable with googly eyes. The direction, angle, and height of the tires can be changed! Amazing!

What are those stick-like parts? I wondered what the stick-like part was, but it turned out to be a stick to hold the open hood in place.

The excessive attention to detail nearly stalled the car. We were about to stall out from the excessive attention to detail!

For those who want to build it well, it is recommended to use nippers and glue to neatly align the parts and correct any looseness. Also, if you are not sure how to make it, you can watch the assembly video by scanning the QR code.

The other "1997 GT-R (R33)" is available in white, sonic silver, and black. The streamlined lines from the stylish body to the rear wing are beautiful. The engine part is also cool, so we would like to display this one with the hood open!

1/64 PLUS Camping Trailer ~Registro Cuko~ 2, 6 types, 400 yen

Camping is a big boom in the world these days, and one of the dreams of campers is a camping car! However, they are quite expensive, and there must be many people who think that they are just overpriced flowers.

But many people think that the price of a camper is too expensive. Why don't you try to make your dream come true with a miniature camper with full-scale specifications?

This product is a 1/64 scale plastic kit of a camping trailer, available in six colors: black silver, silver orange, mint black, white gray, khaki metallic, and beige brown. The color scheme is more realistic than part 1. The "Registro Cuco" logo throughout is also stylish.

Don't worry, we have full support for this one as well, with a QR code to check out a video on how to make it. Compared to the aforementioned Skyline, there are fewer parts, but this one comes with mini figures of a man & boy or a woman & dog made of clear material. They look a bit creepy, but it is an interesting experiment in that they can be displayed together.

As for the assembly, there are some parts that need to be assembled with care, such as the parts that need to be placed in the correct direction and the door parts, but the most difficult part is the interior seal application. The most difficult part is the interior stickers, which must be carefully applied using tweezers. If you want to achieve a higher degree of perfection, it is recommended to prepare nippers and glue when assembling the car.

And finally, it is done! The door has an interesting two-step gimmick: pull it out and then open it. Also, the ceiling can be removed so you can take a closer look at the interior. Excuse me while I join the family!

If you remove the table and tilt the back of the sofa to the side, it instantly turns into a bed! With such a detailed gimmick, even a miniature camping trailer can be a dream come true, can't it?

Using the joint parts, you can also combine it with other miniature cars of the same size. If you combine it with your beloved miniature car, your dream will become more and more real. ......

I was able to feel the deep love for capsule toys through the deep attention to detail that went into this item! I have a feeling that Stand Stones will surely continue to go further and further down the Mini-Pla & Mini-Car path. I have high expectations for you! Please let us moan again.
