Kuroshitsuji" (Monthly G Fantasy/Square Enix) is a popular manga series by Yana Toboso that has sold more than 34 million copies worldwide andis set in Victorian England at the end of the 19th century and follows Ciel Phantomhive and his butler Sebastian as they take on various cases.
Production of the new series, the sixth in the series of animated films, has been announced, with Kenjiro Okada, who brought the delicate worldview of "March of the Lions" to the screen, as director, Hiroyuki Yoshino, who has written the screenplay for "Black Butler" since the 11th episode, as series composition, and Yumi Shimizu, who is the chief animation director for "Horimiya" as character design, as well as the music for "Fate/Gate" and the animation director for "Fate/Gate. The music is by Ryu Kawazaki of "Fate/Grand Order: Babylonia" fame, and the production company is CloverWorks, which also handles "Horimiya" and "SPYxFAMILY. Inheritance and renewal, the talented staff will color the images.
