Masaki Sugata
When I read the original story again, the story starts from the point of strength, and I was so moved by the way he uses his power and the way he lives his life.
I was wondering how I was going to face the big work "Rurouni Kenshin," but the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra supported me with their gentle and sharp performance just like a reverse-blade sword, and I found myself singing straight ahead.
I also really enjoyed exchanging lyrics with Mr. Yanaka. I would email him late at night, try it out at rehearsal, email him again, try it out at rehearsal, and so on,
I felt like I was a member of the band, and it was a really fun time.
Thank you very much for your support for "Rurouno-Katayo".

Atsushi Yanaka (Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra)
Masaki Sugata asked us to create a song for this project, and we put all the Ska Paradaisu Orchestra's efforts into it.

I think the world view of the sword is similar to that of SKA.
From the intro to the outro, I believe that the ska beat and howling horn section express the courage of Kenshin, who runs through conflicts and struggles with a never-ending pulse.
The members of Sukapara, who worked on this arrangement, were like nine swordsmen to me.

This time, I wrote the lyrics that Sugata-kun sings.

I thought that Kenshin, who tries to open up the future in solitude, is the incarnation of purified love, and I was able to depict that world.
Mr. Sugata sang with all his heart about the image of a true hero who fights on behalf of someone else without being known.

The world we live in today may be like a pitch-black night sea, but in fact, that night sea gives birth to many lives.
I hope that hope will be born in your hearts in this way.

The ending theme for the second cool season is "Proof of Existence" by KID PHENOMENON!
