I connected the compressor to an airbrush!

Now, let's try connecting it to an airbrush.

Depending on the type of airbrush, such as a marker replacement type, it may not be possible to connect. Check carefully before purchasing!

By the way, the airbrush I will use this time is the Kreos "Pro-Con BOY FWA Platinum 0.2 Double Action" (price including tax: 14,630 yen), which I have been using for less than 10 years. The nozzle aperture is 0.2 mm, and it has an air adjustment system for delicate painting.

First, let's start with the integrated type. It is easy to connect directly to the airbrush.

Connection complete! The compressor can be used as a stand as it is, so you can store it standing up (be careful not to knock it over).

Next, the separate type. If the hose and compressor cannot be connected as they are, you can connect them by putting the included hose joint in between.

Tighten it securely to prevent air leakage.

I have been using Wave's "HG Spiral Air Hose" (price including tax: 1,980 yen). It is convenient because it can extend up to 1.5 m and you can easily see if water droplets form inside the hose!

And the "Mr. Stand" (price including tax: 440 yen), which allows you to plug in your airbrush for storage. It has a magnet on the back, so we recommend fixing it to a metal tray or the like!

Paint it!

Now, let's try painting. This time, we will spray it with diluted Tamiya Acrylic Flat Black.

Make sure to charge the battery well before use!

I tried painting in one piece. The air strength is not too strong or too weak, just right!

Next, I painted the actual kit with the separate type. The air pressure was constant and sprayed beautifully!

By the way, the compressor does not have an air adjustment function for fine spraying, so use the adjustment function of the airbrush itself or pull the lever to control the air pressure (it depends on the type of airbrush)!
