9/15 Release] Director Mari Okada's latest work! Final trailer for the theatrical animation "Alice and Telles' Maboroshi Factory" is released!

The original animated feature film "Alice and Telles' Maboroshi Factory," scheduled for release on September 15, 2023, has released its final version trailer and information on six consecutive weeks of admission gifts.

Alice and Telles' Maboroshi Factory" takes place in a town that has lost all exits due to a sudden explosion at a steel mill, and even the time has stopped. With a rule that nothing must be changed so that things can one day return to normal, the 14-year-old protagonist, Masamune, is guided by a mysterious classmate, Mutsumi, who is anxious about him, and steps into the steel mill's fifth blast furnace. There he meets Gomi, a wild wolf-like girl who cannot speak. This encounter with the two girls was the beginning of a world in which the equilibrium of the world was upset....
In a world where "change is forbidden," this film depicts boys and girls struggling toward the future with the unstoppable "urge to love" as their weapon, with overwhelming visual beauty of a new dimension.

The film is directed by the screenwriter of "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai," which became the foundation of the current anime boom as "an anime that even adults can cry over. His directorial debut "Sayonara no Morno ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou" was also highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.
Okada's latest film, "Alice and Telles' Maboroshi Factory," the first original animated film by Studio MAPPA, will be released in theaters this weekend, September 16, 2023.
