The TV anime "16bit Sensation ANOTHER LAYER" has revealed its PV, key visual, broadcast and distribution information, as well as additional cast and staff information.

Based on the fanzine "16bit Sensation," which was distributed at Comic Market 96 by Mitsumi Misato and Amaruki (Aquaplus) and manga artist Tamiki Wakaki.
Set in 1990s Akihabara, the magazine depicts the scene of bishojo game production and the changing cultural movements surrounding it, intertwined with the story of the main character, Meiko Uehara, and other characters. The doujinshi has sold a total of six episodes, and a book is currently being published by KADOKAWA (two volumes already in print).

Various new information was revealed at the "Aniplex Online Fest 2023".

First of all, the PV was finally released. In the anime teaser visual, only Konoha Akisato was depicted, but now all the members of Alcoholsoft have finally appeared, and the video expresses the worldview depicted in the original story.

The key visual released at the same time depicts seven main characters designed by Masakatsu Sasaki, who is in charge of character design, as well as items deeply related to the story of the film.

It was also announced that the program will begin airing on TOKYO MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on October 4, 2023 (Wed.) at 24:30.

As additional cast members, it was announced that Kentaro Ito will play "Masaru Rokuda" a.k.a. "Tencho", a member of Alcohol Soft that appears in the original story, Jun Fukushima will play "Kiyoshi Gomikawa" a.k.a. "Kyonshi", and Ki Yamane will play "Fuyuyoru Yamada".

In addition, a special program "16bitTV in Akihabara - Advance! Denpa Shoujo" will premiere on Aniplex's official YouTube channel. Aoi Koga, who plays the main character Konoha Akisato, and Atsushi Abe, who plays Mamoru Rokuda, will talk about the appeal of this work to the fullest.

Finally, it was announced that a "TV anime "16-bit Sensation ANOTHER LAYER" preliminary screening and talk event - "Into the 16-bit Era" - will be held on October 1 (Sun.) prior to the broadcast of the first and second episodes. The talk event will be held after the screening of the main story, and the four main cast members (Aoi Koga, Atsushi Abe, Yui Horie, and Ayako Kawasumi) are scheduled to appear on stage.
