Autumn anime "Shangri-La Frontier" reveals an early chapter visual depicting Sanlak and Lucaoan facing each other! Broadcasting begins on 10/1.

From the TV anime "Shangri-La Frontier," scheduled to air on October 1, 2023, the first chapter visuals and the third PV have been released.

Shangri-La Frontier" takes place in a slightly futuristic world where games that use displays are now classified as retro games. One "shitty game hunter," Sanraku, aka "Yomu Rakuro," who has devoted his passion to clearing "shitty games" whose contents have not caught up with the latest VR technology, has been working on a new game called "Shangri-La Frontier," which has 30 million total players. This is a supreme "game x fantasy" adventure story in which he takes on the challenge of "Shangri-La Frontier," a "god game" with a total of 30 million players.

The visual for the first chapter of the work and the third PV have been released. In addition, character visuals and comments from FZMZ and CHiCO, who are in charge of the theme song, were also released.

Visual of the first chapter of "Shangri-La Frontier

The visual depicts Sanraku confronting Lucaoan, the night attacker, who appears and looms ominously in the dark night. The title of the opening chapter, "Pioneers, blown by the night wind." and the powerful figure of Lucaoan are the main attractions of the design.

Third PV

The third PV, which was released along with the visuals for the first chapter, features the opening theme "BROKEN GAMES" for the first time.
The PV also shows a moving Lucaoan figure in a night attack, allowing the viewer to experience the "tingling sense of intimidation" that Sanlak describes, even in a short scene.
In addition, the intense movements and battle scenes that are necessary to depict a "divine game" are also depicted with overwhelming visual beauty.

Character Visuals

Weiss Ash (CV: Akio Otsuka)
He is Emuru's father and the head of a tribe called the Vorpal Bunny. His large, strong figure, unmatched by other deadly rabbits, is intimidating to all who see him.
When Sanraku is led by Emuru to the rabbit kingdom of Rabbitz, he is impressed by Sanraku's strength and courage and puts him through a variety of ordeals.

Lucaoan of the Night Assault
One of the "seven strongest species" of unique monsters in the Shangri-La Frontier.
It appears out of the darkness. The conditions for its appearance are unknown. It likes strong enemies, and marks those who show its presence with its own "curse" (marking). It is a sign that it is the prey of the monster, and the curse emitted from its scars binds the player.

My name is CHiCO, and I will be in charge of the ending theme!
I love games and I'm the type of person who gets absorbed in them, so I really empathized with the style of Sunraku and her friends, who play games "for real, so it's fun".
I also love the world view of Champflo and would like to play this kind of game someday! I was reading the game while thinking "I want to play a game like this someday!
The ending theme "Ace" is an exciting and hot song that goes along with the world of Shanflo! Please look forward to it!
