Autumn Anime "Kizuna no Ariru" Second Season Broadcast Commemorative Cast Interview! Part 3: Yuzuka Nukui (Noel) [PR] (PR)

As an anime project of the world's first virtual YouTuber "Kizuna Eye," the first season of the anime "Kizuna Ariru" has been broadcast since April 2023.

Following the first season, which can be called an introduction to the story of Miraku, a girl who follows Kizuna Ai's back and aspires to become a virtual artist, and her friends, the long-awaited second season will begin in October.

Akiba Research Institute continues to push this work, in which reality and virtuality cross over, to the hilt. We will be releasing daily interviews with the members of PathTLive, formed by the main character Miraku, as well as with the cast of the virtual artists appearing in the second season.

The third interview is with Yuzuka Nukui (Noel)!

─ ─ How do you feel now that the first season has been completed?

Nukui: Dazzling youth! I think it's wonderful to be able to do all the things you love, both painful and enjoyable. This miraculous, yet seemingly inevitable encounter became connected, spread, and became a source of strength for ...... Noel, and I think it became a truly important time for him. I am happy to see the various expressions of the characters!

─ ─ Could you tell us about a scene or a line from the first season that was particularly memorable for you?

Nukai: "Hmmm, hmmm, I see...well, ...... the kids who became friends with Mirak yesterday or today, well, they wouldn't know. Shall we do it? Let's play "Limited Shiritori!" Noel is Choko-Kawaii. This is the CG part of episode 9, the exchange with Chris. She is so cute and full of emotions because she loves Mirak. He and Chris work well together. Please watch it again and again!

───How is the reaction of the people around you and the fans?

Nukui: We were streaming on Alleles in conjunction with the anime, so I think people felt more of a real-time sense of the show, and we received a lot of warm support. I think that many of you felt even more special when you watched the work because Kizuna Ai appeared in it. I was also very moved by it. ...... Some of you got to know Nukai through this work, and we received many letters and responses on SNS, which makes us very happy!

─ ─ Now that you know the personalities of the characters better, if you could say something to the other characters, who would it be and what would you like to say to them?

Nukui: I would love to see a story where everyone in PathTLive goes to a takoyaki or okonomiyaki restaurant together! Liz's passion for flour is very passionate, so I think it would be very lively to see everyone eating together (laughs).

─ ─ What kind of activities can we expect to see in the second season, which will finally start airing?

Nukai: The stoic Noel sometimes hits a wall again. And at such times, he meets an unexpected (?) person. With an unexpected (?) person ......? I have a feeling that we will see an even more intense coming-of-age experience! Please look forward to it!

─ ─ Units other than PathTLive will also appear in the second season. Please tell us about the units you are currently interested in, along with the reasons why.

Nukai: Each unit has its own unique personality, so I am looking forward to seeing them all! BRT5 is the same five members as PathTLive, and their costumes are very unified, so I'm looking forward to seeing what colors they will show. 3DM8 (Three Dee Mates) looks very cool, but I am excited to see what kind of music they will perform at ......!

─ ─ By the way, at the recent "Chao x Ribbon Girls Comic Fest", you performed for the first time at PathTLive in a realistic appearance and read live!

Nukui: It was a completely different kind of tension than the virtual dive performance, but it was really fun! I was able to perform "SHINING i" for the first time, which I had not done on the virtual stage, and I was very moved to see the faces of everyone who came to the event. ...... I was moved by the faces of the people who came to the concert. I want to stand on more stages and connect with more people.

───I'm sure you must have gone through a lot of things in the lessons and in the dressing room on the day of the performance.

Nukai: It was the first time for me to wear the costume, so I was very excited! The overall color scheme was based on white, with each character's color as a subtle color, and the costume incorporated the character's personality, so we were very excited in the dressing room, complimenting each other's costumes and getting ready. It is very special to wear my own costume with the character on my back.

You are also active as an artist in the XR artist project "Alleles.

Nukui: In Alleles, I had the opportunity to work with Noel, who is a little ...... different from Noel in the anime. It was different from the anime Noel, and I had to stop ...... time and so on. It's a long story, but sometimes Noel stops time! If you are interested, please come and watch the delivery! (laugh) What I would like to do in the future is a consultation room for Noel's problems!

───What do you feel you have gained and grown through this work?

Nukui: I gained a lot of unknown experiences, and I think I gained the courage and guts to enjoy and challenge everything. I am now able to enjoy things that I was not good at, and the memories of both successes and failures as a result of my challenges are an experience that is irreplaceable and very important.

─ By the way, if you were to actually enter the virtual world, what kind of avatar would you make?

Nukai: That is a very difficult question! A fluffy beast instead of a human being would be cute, and on the other hand, a strong, muscular beast would be wonderful, and I would love to create an avatar of the ideal girl I would like to be. I would also like to create an avatar of the ideal girl I want to be. However, I think that a character without a strong personality, similar to the one I have at home, would allow me to spend my time in the virtual world in a relaxed and carefree manner (laughs).

─ ─ Finally, do you have a message for those who enjoyed the first season and those who are interested in the show but have not watched it yet?

Nukai: Whether you know who you want to be or not, I am sure you will find something exciting and sparkling in this work. It is scary to jump into an unknown world, but maybe you will be able to meet the person you didn't know you were. And ...... even if you don't watch it in such a formal way, it is definitely a work that will make you smile unintentionally! Whether you are just starting to watch the first season or have been waiting for the second season, we hope you will enjoy the story of the "bond" that Kizuna Ai has created!
