Interview with the cast of the fall anime "Kizuna no Ariru" in commemoration of the broadcast of the second season! No.7 Lan Fue (Jesse) [PR].

As an anime project of the world's first virtual YouTuber "Kizuna Eye", the first season of the anime "Kizuna Ariru" has been broadcast since April 2023.

Following the first season, which can be called an introduction to the story of Miraku, a girl who follows Kizuna Ai's back and aspires to become a virtual artist, and her friends, the long-awaited second season will begin in October.

Akiba Research Institute continues to push this work, in which reality and virtuality cross over, to the hilt. We will be publishing daily interviews with the members of PathTLive, formed by the main character Miraku, as well as with the cast of the virtual artists who will appear in the second season.

In this seventh installment, we will be interviewing Jessie Lanfei of BRT5!

─ ─ How did you feel when you were chosen to appear in this film?

Randy: It was a surprise announcement, so I was very surprised! And I am so happy to be able to play such a cute little Jessie. I was with the members of BRT5 when I was chosen to play the role, so I thought to myself, "From now on, the five of us will form a group and work together! We have to do our best! I felt like I had to do my best.

───Couldyou tell us about the character youplay, Jessie?

Ranfei: Jessie is a very honest girl who can face her feelings without hiding them. She also has a bit of a selfish side, but I think that is also a cute point!

───What was your first impression ofJessie?

Ranfei: My first impression is that she looks cute! Her pink twin-tail hair and on-brow bangs were just adorable. When I actually played the role, I realized that Jessie is not only cute, but also has a strong heart, knows what she wants to do, and works hard to achieve it. Please support this Jessie!

─ What kind of unit is"BRT5"?

Ranfei: Each member of BRT5 is unique, and I think they are a group that is always seeking high-spec performances and aiming for the top of the virtual idol world!

─ ─Do you have any episodes with the "BRT5" members during postrecording or recording sessions?

Ranfei: When we were recording, Yuri Matsuoka, who plays Niska, said to me, "I just heard Jessie's voice for the first time, and it's so cute! I remember how happy I was when Mr. Yuri Matsuoka, who plays Niska, said "I just heard Jessie's voice for the first time, and she is so cute!

─ By the way, what is your impression of Kizuna Ai, who is an important character in this work?

Ranfei: I have known Ai since she was active! I used to be a virtual idol myself, so I have always admired and respected Ai-chan. So I am very happy to be able to perform in "Kizuna no Ariru" this time through a wonderful opportunity! I would like to do something to cheer people up like Ai-chan does!

─ What do you think are the highlights and interesting points of the anime "Kizuna no Ariru"?

Ranfei: I think the highlight of the anime is the story of the 15 characters as they grow through various things and their bonds deepen. I would also like people to pay attention to the performances of each group! Each group has a different style and view of the world, and they are all breathtaking! Please enjoy the show!

─ What are the highlights of the second season of the anime "Kizuna no Ariru"?

Ranfei: First of all! The second season will finally have all 15 characters! You can see everyone's stories and performances, and the growth of Jessie, who I play, and a side of her that no one knows about yet, so I hope you will enjoy watching it!

─ ─ In addition to your appearances in anime, youare also active as theXRartist project "Alleles"on yourYouTubechannel.What kind of activities would you like to do as"Alleles" in the future?

RanfueWe are working as XR artists, both in real life and in virtual life as characters. Being able to DIVE into the virtual world is a lot of fun and we can do a lot of things that we cannot do in the real world. From now on, I hope to be able to show viewers things they can't see in real life in this kind of fantasy-like world.
