Autumn Anime "Kizuna no Ariru" Second Season Broadcast Commemorative Cast Interview! No.9 Hina Natsume (Sarah) [PR].

As an anime project of the world's first virtual YouTuber "Kizuna Eye", the first season of the anime "Kizuna Ariru" has been broadcast since April 2023.

Following the first season, which can be called an introduction to the story of Miraku, a girl who follows Kizuna Eye's back and aspires to become a virtual artist, and her friends, the long-awaited second season will begin in October.

Akiba Research Institute continues to push this work, in which reality and virtuality cross over, to the hilt. We will be publishing daily interviews with the members of PathTLive, formed by the main character Miraku, as well as with the cast of the virtual artists who will appear in the second season.

The 9th interview is with Hina (Sarah) Natsume of BRT5!

───Please tell us how you felt when you were chosen to appear in this film.

Natsume: First of all, I was surprised. Actually, I had auditioned for a different character, and I met Sara when I was informed that I had been chosen to appear in the film. I never thought that I would be able to breathe life into such a perfect and wonderful girl, and along with my surprise, I had a lot of expectations for what kind of story would be waiting for me.

───Please tell us about the character you are playing.

Natsume: "the perfect girl" (laughs). Sarah is a very talented girl who can do anything. Even so, she is not self-conceited and is always striving to be better. I think she is truly a genius who can work hard.

However, because she is so demanding of herself, she also sets high standards for her partners, and sometimes her words come off as harsh. I'm not a bad kid. ...... I really am .......

─ ─ What was your first impression of the character you play?

Natsume: My first impression was that she was a tough girl! (laughs). (Laughs) That's what I thought when I only heard her lines in the introduction PV. But as the story progressed, I began to understand her way of thinking and why she became the character she is today. Sarah is a cute guy.

─ What kind of unit is "BRT5"?

Natsume: A group of professionals! We are a group of professionals! We saw some footage of them in the first season, and the aura of the BRT5 members in that dark room was amazing!

─ ─ Do you have any episodes from the postrecording sessions with the "BRT5" members or episodes from the recording of songs?

Natsume: Actually, all five members did not get together at the same time during postrecording. We recorded the songs one by one, so the five of us were never directly involved in the recording process. ...... But when we were recording, we would get lyric assignments, and there was a song that Sarah sang after Niska, and I was like, "Oh my God, really? That's a lot of pressure!" I once sang the song thinking, "Oh my God!

─ ─ Please tell us about any episodes you had during postrecording, including other unit members.

Natsume: Tsukinon (Tsukino's nickname) gave me Hagi no Tsuki!

───What is your impression of Kizuna Ai, an important character in this work?

Natsume: As I said, she is the master who established the status of VTubers! I check out many of Ai's live performances and deliveries, and study how she communicates with her viewers and how she presents her deliveries!

─ What do you think are the highlights and interesting points of the anime "Kizuna no Ariru"?

Natsume: I think the highlight is that each of the 15 members plays a main role. Of course, it is a story surrounding Miraku, the leader of the group, but it is also a story about how everyone who meets Miraku is trying to become the person they want to be, so I think it is a work that can be viewed in many different ways.

─ What do you think is unique about the second season of the "Kizuna no Ariru" anime?

Natsume: The number of characters in the anime will increase dramatically, so we will be able to see interactions and performances that we have never seen before!

─ ─ In addition to your appearances in the anime, you are also active as "Alleles," an XR artist project on your YouTube channel. What kind of activities would you like to do as "Alleles" in the future?

Natsume: We have done a few virtual live performances, but we would like to bring real live performances to everyone someday.

─ ─ Finally, do you have a message for the readers of Akiba Research Institute?

Natsume: More and more members will appear in the second season of "Kizuna no Ariru" and you won't want to miss it! Please don't miss it! Please don't miss it!
