Namco Bandai Entertainment, Inc. has announced that "Sword Art Online Last Recollection," a new game for PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Steam scheduled for release on October 5, 2023 (Thursday), will feature the entry of two new playable characters, Yuki "Gradia, the Sword God" and Mito. The new game "SWORD ART ONLINE LAST RICOLETION" will feature two new playable characters, Yuki "Gradia" and Mito.

Based on the novel by Reki Kawahara, the TV anime "SWORD ART ONLINE" depicts the activities of the main character Kirito in the next generation online game "SWORD ART ONLINE". In "SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection," you can play the game's original "War of Underworld" chapter, which depicts a different world line from the original story and anime, with the largest number of characters and episodes in the series. The new game will feature new playable characters and episodes.

The new playable characters "Yuki "Gladia" the Sword God" and "Mito" have been announced.

At the "SWORD ART ONLINE" TGS2023 Special Stage held during the Tokyo Game Show 2023, it was announced that Yuki "Gradia, the Sword God" and Mito will be joining the game.

Yuki "Gladia the Sword God" (CV: Aoi Yuuki)
Yuki is a skilled swordsman known as "Zekken. Although she was seriously ill, she too may have overcome a tragic fate.
Wearing the super-account of Gladia, the Sword God, she descends as the last goddess of the Underworld.

I will protect Asuna. ......!

Mito (CV: Minase Inori)
Mito (CV: Minase Inori) is a game enthusiast whose real name is Usazawa Fukasumi.
Like Kirito, she is a former beta tester and uses a huge scythe as a weapon.
She is friends with Asuna, and the two were paired together in "SAO" at first.
