Interview with the cast of the autumn anime "Kizuna no Ariru" in commemoration of the broadcast of the second season! No.10 Hinaki Yano (Hal) [PR].

As an anime project of the world's first virtual YouTuber "Kizuna Eye," the first season of the anime "Kizuna Ariru" has been broadcast since April 2023.

Following the first season, which can be called an introduction to the story of Miraku, a girl who follows Kizuna Ai's back and aspires to become a virtual artist, and her friends, the long-awaited second season will begin in October.

Akiba Research Institute continues to push this work, in which reality and virtuality cross over, to the hilt. We will be releasing daily interviews with the members of PathTLive, formed by the main character Miraku, as well as the cast of the virtual artists who will appear in the second season.

In this 10th installment, we will be interviewing Ms. Hinaki (Hal) Yano of BRT5!

───Please tell us how you felt when you were chosen to appear in this film.

Yano: I was very happy. I was anxious and excited at the same time, wondering what kind of anime and activities awaited me in the virtual space, including Kizuna Ai.

───Please tell us about the character you play.

Yano: Haru is quite tall and looks like a big sister, but she is quite the opposite, in fact, she is quite childish and very cute. She is also a very honest and nice girl who understands people's feelings.

──What was your first impression of the character you play?

Yano: She looks very mature! So when I read the script and heard the explanation, I was very confused (laughs). (Laughs.) So I struggled during the first postrecording session until I got a grasp of the character. But she is a very honest girl, so once I got a grasp of her, she was easy to play and I thought she was cute.

─ What kind of unit is "BRT5"?

Yano: It's a unit that is cool, but also powerful and a bit rough around the edges. But they all wear the same costumes, and I think that their strong personalities are neutralized in that way.

─ ─ Please tell us about any episodes you had with the "BRT5" members during postrecording or during the recording of songs.

Yano: I struggled a lot because the recording came before the postrecording. I started from the beginning by asking myself, "What kind of girl is Hal? I also had an image of the song, so I consulted with the music producer a lot before finally completing the recording.

───Are there any episodes during postrecording, including the other members of the unit?

Yano: The BRT5 members didn't quite get together, and the recording sessions were still separate due to the Corona disaster, so I remember how happy I was when we all got together (laughs). (Laughs) I remember how we tried our best to converse with each other, even though we were still having a hard time getting to know each other.

─ What is your impression of Kizuna Ai, who is an important character in this work?

Yano: I didn't expect to be involved, so I was quite surprised. It was like an existence behind the screen, or ....... Well, of course that is true (laughs), but I was able to study how he is a ...... professional who is cute when he is cute and kimey when he is kimey.

─ What do you think are the highlights and interesting points of the "Kizuna no Ariru" anime?

Yano: The virtual images that are not only animation, and the way the virtual images are depicted in the animation are unique to "Ariru of Kizuna".

─ What do you think is unique about the second season of the "Kizuna no Ariru" anime?

Yano: The fact that there are so many different units in the anime. There are a lot of people in the anime, so I myself am looking forward to seeing the appeal of the characters in the anime and the completely different colors of the music for each unit.

─ ─ In addition to your appearances in anime, you are also active as the XR artist project "Alleles" on your YouTube channel. What kind of activities would you like to do as "Alleles" in the future?

Yano: As a unit! I think the second season of the TV anime will finally unveil the songs of each unit, so you will be able to listen to their songs, and since each unit has its own costumes, I think it would be nice just to see them.
