An official interview with Shinichi Tsutsumi, narrator of the anime "Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan" has arrived!

The Iyashi no Penguin short anime "Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan" entered its second course of production on January 4, 2019. The official interview with actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, who spoke of his enthusiasm for the second course of the anime, has arrived and will be introduced below.

Official Interview.

-- You have been narrating since October 2018, and this January 2019 marks the start of your second course.

The pictures in the anime are cute, so I try not to be too overbearing (in an old man's voice). Especially in the scene where he calls out to Chitose, I try not to be too nuanced and keep my emotions a little low.

-- So, what did you do differently or change compared to the narration in the first cool of the anime?

In the first course, the narration was done in a video that had not yet been completed, so after watching the completed video again, I softened the narration a bit.

-- Did your impression of the main character, Chitose, change?

I feel like I'm getting into the images and interacting with Chitose-chan as if she were a resident of Kyoto in the anime.

-- Have you been to any of the famous places in Kyoto that will appear in the second season of the show?

I visited all of the famous places in Kyoto that appeared in the second season. In particular, I went to Kibune Shrine and its kawadoko (riverbed), which appear in the latter half of the film, many times in between filming. It's cooler in the summer, and you can relax.

-- Would you like to continue narrating animated films in the future?

I hope to do another work that children will enjoy watching.

-- You have a reputation for soothing viewers with your animation Chitose-chan and also with your narration Mr. Tsutsumi.

It is a strange combination of myself, the narrator (an old man), and the cute penguins, but I would be grateful if you find it smiling and warm. As I thought at the beginning, I hope I am not disturbing you...

-- Finally, please leave a message for the viewers and fans who are looking forward to the second cool season.

Please be healed by the cuteness. I hope you can feel the laid-back atmosphere of Kyoto, which seems to attract many tourists nowadays.
