The delicious flavor of slowly cooked pork bones overflows! Marusho Ramen Yodobashi Akiba" Tsuke-chuka for 980 yen!

When you come to Akihabara, you may have a hard time deciding where to have lunch.

To help you decide, here are some Akiba eats that I, Shun Gori, who is always roaming around Akihabara even when I don't have any plans to visit, recommend.

As an Akibaite who prefers to spend his money on his hobbies, I will focus on those who can eat for less than 1,000 yen, assuming that you can spend less than 1,000 yen for lunch.

Speaking of Akihabara, one cannot avoid eating ramen. However, there are already famous ramen stores where you have to wait in line, and I would like to try a new ramen shop.

So this time, we visited the new Marusho Ramen Yodobashi Akiba, which just opened on September 25, 2023.

⇒Marusho Ramen Yodobashi Akiba Branch" opened today, September 25, at the former site of Menya Iroha.

Marusho Ramen Yodobashi Akiba" opened on September 25 on the restaurant floor on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Akiba, right in front of the central ticket gate of JR Akihabara Station.

The restaurant has a total of 32 table and counter seats. The interior is decorated in the style of the recently popular machi-chuka restaurants, with a bright, relaxed atmosphere that allows customers to enjoy ramen without feeling self-conscious.

There is no particular lunch menu, and you can choose from a standard menu.

Marusho Ramen Yodobashi Akiba's signature dishes are the "Special Chinese Soba Noodle" (1,080 yen), which is full of the flavor of slowly cooked pork bones, and the "Tsuke Chuka" (980 yen).

Other dishes include "Chashu-men" at 1,130 yen and spicy "Karashi-Chuka" at 980 yen, so you can choose according to your preference.

If you are not satisfied with just ramen, tell the waiter when you hand in your meal ticket.

This time, I would have liked to order the "Special Chinese Soba" for 1,080 yen, but since my budget was less than 1,000 yen, I chose the "Tsuke-chuka" for 980 yen, another signature item on the menu.

The "Tsuke-chuka" is a set of noodles in a rich dipping broth topped with pork, boiled egg, and nori seaweed, and a generous portion of noodles (1.5 to 2 balls).

If that is not enough for you, we recommend adding a bowl of rice for free.

The soup is made by combining the flavorful pork bone broth that is cooked slowly with a special sauce that is made by hand, and is filled with a large amount of chashu pork and boiled eggs.

The soup itself is quite thick, so instead of soaking the noodles in it, I dipped them halfway into the soup and slurped them down in one gulp.

If you want a thicker, richer flavor! If you want a thicker, richer soup, you can dip the noodles in the dipping sauce and eat it all at once.

The amount of noodles was quite large, but thanks to the rich dipping sauce, I was able to finish it off with a delicious finish.

I am curious to try the "Special Chinese Soba Noodle" as well.

I promised myself that next time I would try the "Special Chinese Soba" when my budget is not so tight.
