The first episode of the fall anime "The Rise of the Shield Brave Rider Season 3," scheduled to begin airing on October 6, 2023, has been released with a synopsis and advance cuts.

Based on the popular series by Aneko Yusagi, which was first published on "Shosetsu-kaerou (Novelist)" and later published as a book by MF Books, the first TV anime season started in January 2019 and Season 2 aired in April 2022. The story follows Naofumi Iwatani, who is summoned to another world and rises to become a hero who can only use a "shield".

The first episode of the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Season 3", which will start airing on October 6 on AT-X and other stations, has been revealed with a synopsis and advance cuts.

The synopsis and advance cuts of the first episode are as follows.

Episode 1 "Colosseum of Darkness

In preparation for the resurrection of the new "Phoenix", Shobun tries to recover the scattered subhumans from Rurorona Village. However, the subhuman slaves have been bought up for one reason or another. In order to save them, Shobun heads for Zeltobul, a land of merchants and mercenaries.

<Introduction
The shield hero Iwatani Naofumi, who defeated the "Spirit Turtle," one of the Four Spirits, returns to Meru Romarc after defeating Kyou, the cause of the resurrection of the Spirit Turtle, in another world.
He prepares for the battle against the new "Phoenix," the new "Four Spirits" that are about to be resurrected, but the three heroes who blundered in the Reigame disturbance are missing, and the territory that Shobun owns is also in a situation where there is uncertainty about its strength.
Shobun, who wanted to recover the scattered residents of the old Rurorona village in preparation for the upcoming battle, visited Zeltobul, where the residents were sold into slavery, and participated in an underground gambling arena with Raftalia and Firo as a foothold for rescue.
The subhumans who seek salvation, the three heroes who are brokenhearted, and Mine, a.k.a. Vicci, who is active in the dark.
Amidst the intermingling of their respective agendas, will Shobun be able to pursue the path he believes in?
