The first episode of the fall anime "Kamierabi," which is scheduled to begin airing today, October 4, 2023, has been released with a synopsis and advance cuts.

Kamierabi" is a completely original TV anime created by a group of rare creators, with original idea by Yokoo Tarou, director of the popular game "NieR: Automata," character design by Atsushi Okubo, a manga artist who has created a series of hits such as "Fire Brigade" and "Soul Eater," and director Hiroyuki Seshita of "Knights of Sidonia" and "BLAME! and directed by Hiroyuki Seshita of "Knights of Sidonia" and "BLAME!" fame, this is a completely original TV animation by a group of rare creators.
The film depicts a "fetish battle royale" in which Goro and other "kamisama candidates," who have been chosen by a "great will" after receiving strange notifications on their smartphones, vie for the title of "god" in order to make their wishes come true, and kill each other until there is only one left.

The TV anime "Kamierabi", which will start airing on October 4, has released a synopsis and advance cuts of the first episode.

The synopsis and advance cut of the first episode are as follows.

Episode 1 "In a place where no one notices and everyone dreams about".

A summer day. One summer day, Goro, a boy who was bored with his usual routine, receives a mysterious message on his phone.
Please breathe your wish into it.
Thinking it was spam, Goro mutters a random wish, "I want to have sex with Honoka, the girl of my dreams," and his situation changes drastically.
A video he doesn't remember uploading to social networking sites, and a sudden approach ...... with Honoka, whom he has been curious about.
And so begins the "Kamierabi," a competition to choose the god of the world.

＜Story
Dear God, the world is going mad today.

Goro, a first-year high school student at a private high school in Tokyo, has no "hopes," no "dreams," and no "ambitions.
The world is "indifferent" to him, and he spends his boring, unchanging days with his best friend Akitsu, while having a faint yearning for Honoka, a classmate from the same school.
One day, Goro receives a strange notification on his smartphone.
You have been chosen. Please make a wish.

Goro thought it was a malicious spam, so he tweeted, "I want to have sex with Honoka, the girl of my dreams.
The next day, he is invited by Honoka to pull down his pants in a deserted arcade...

Congratulations on the fulfillment of your great desire!"
Then suddenly a mysterious girl, Lalu, appears. Confused by the series of events, Goro is told of a cruel fate.
Goro was chosen by the "Great Will," and in order to make his wish come true, he must compete with other Kamisama candidates for the title of "God" and kill each other until he is the last man standing.
The ability given to him is the "scripture of fools. The power to twist the cause and effect of the world and manipulate the reason of the world at will at the cost of "misfortune" that befalls him.
The first candidate to appear as a potential kamisama was, of course, Honoka, whom Goro had longed for.
What choice did Goro make against Honoka, who attacked him mercilessly?

Thus, the fetish battle royal by the Kamisama candidates with secrets begins...
