Bandai's Vendor Division will release "NAMENEKO JAPAN Pouch Collection" (300 yen per package, including 10% tax, total 8 kinds), which are miniature-sized reproductions of popular NAMENEKO JAPAN products, sequentially from the second week of October 2023 at official Gashapon Bandai stores nationwide, as well as at capsule toy vending machines located in toy sales areas, mass retail stores, home electronics stores, etc. The product will go on sale at official Gashapon Bandai shops nationwide, as well as at capsule toy vending machines installed in toy departments, mass merchandisers, electronics stores, and other locations.

This item is a pouch measuring approximately 105mm (H) x 120mm (W) with the "Namekitten" in the biker gang style that was a big boom in the 1980s.

The driver's license design version has designs of Matayoshi, Mikeco, Higeo, and Dorayoshi's driver's license. Nameneko", whose official name is "All Japan Biker Neko Rengo Namenayo" (All Japan Biker Neko Association, Namenayo), was released as a poster and calendar in the fall of 1981, and immediately became a social phenomenon. After its debut, "Nameko Neko" became so popular, especially among female office workers at the time, that it became an explosive boom, and at its peak, over 500 different "Nameko" goods were sold. 1981 saw the release of the single record "Namenayo," which reached the 5th position on the Oricon singles chart at the time, and the release of a photo book, She expanded her activities into the entertainment field, appearing in commercials and singing shows. One of the most famous of these was the license for "Nameko" and his friends. These goods, faithfully reproducing actual driver's licenses, were issued by the "Stray Cat Public Safety Committee," with "Invalid if licked" as the expiration date and "Medaka 285-1, Aza Medaka, Oaza Sanma, Katsura City, Kuzura Prefecture" as the real address and nationality. At the time, when police officers asked traffic violators to show their driver's license, there were endless episodes of this "lick cat" license being presented, and the "lick cat" license was an important merchandise item that supported the boom in the shadows.
