GARO," which began airing as a TV series in 2005, follows the story of "GARO knights," who summon armor passed down from generation to generation to fight against "horrors," demonic beasts that devour people's "yinga," and "GARO," the highest ranking of all GARO knights, who are called "golden knights," and who support them in their fight against "horrors. The story depicts the battles of the "Demon Guard Knights," who summon armor passed down from generation to generation to fight, the Golden Knights, who have received the title of "Garo," the highest of the Demon Guard Knights, and the "Demon Guard Masters" who support them.

The dark and unique worldview, stylish visuals that make full use of Japan's best CG/VFX technology, and spectacular and dynamic action scenes make this sci-fi/horror action drama attractive, and it has gained a devoted fan base despite being broadcast in the late-night slot.

The story of Garo, the golden knight, will be told again with Ryuga Dogai (played by Wataru Kuriyama) as the main character, 10 years after his first appearance in "GARO - Yami wo Terasu Mono" (2013).
The "Hagane" in this title is a generic term for the armor summoned by an unnamed knight that has appeared in past works. It appears in this work for the first time as an important character who holds the key to the story. Witness the drama of the Golden Knight Garo Douga Ryuga and "Hagane," which brings us closer to the origin of the "Guardian.

In addition, this film takes a new approach to the "dynamic action" and "high-quality design" that have been the hallmarks of the "GARO" series since its inception. The action scenes have been carefully constructed by action director Masaki Suzumura (participant works: "Rurouni Kenshin", "HiGH & LOW THE WORST X", etc.) and SFX Makeup Artist JIRO (participant works: "SHIN GODZILLA", "ATTACK ON TITAN").
