New visuals and character and cast information have been released from the fall anime "Sougou no Freiren" about the "Decapitated Aura Arc" that will start from the seventh episode airing on October 20, 2023 at 23:20 (*Changed from the regular airing time due to the Friday Road Show expansion).

The original story is serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" by Yamada Kaneto (author) and Abetsukasa (artist), and won the "Manga Grand Prize 2021" Grand Prize and the "25th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award" Shinsei Prize. Set in a world after the overthrow of the Demon King, the story depicts the journey of Freelen, a wizard who has lived for more than 1,000 years and was a companion of the hero and his party, and the new people she meets. The story unfolds in a novel timeline of "after the defeat of the Demon King," and has won over many readers with its heartrending drama and dialogue, battles with magic and swords, and humorous scenes that make you laugh uncontrollably, all woven together by the characters.

This time, new visuals and character and cast information for "Decapitated Aura Arc," which will start from the 7th episode aired on October 20, have been revealed.

The "Decapitation Aura Arc" is an episode that showed great excitement in the first half of the original "Sougou no Freiren" serialization. The fierce battle between the Frieren and the army led by the demon Aura unfolds, and the battle scenes, one of the charms of this work, will also be the focus of attention.
The new visuals released this time also show a tense finish that sets it apart from the previous episodes.

Aura, a demon tribe with immense magical power, is called "Shichihoken," or "Seven Sages" under the direct control of the Demon King. Her direct subordinates, the "decapitators," Lugner, Rinier, and Drath. These four demons will face Freelen and her friends.
The four characters are voiced by Ayana Taketatsu as Aura, Junichi Suwabe as Lugner, Mainaka Ishimi as Regnier, and Koki Ohsuzu as Dorato.

<Synopsis
