AKI-OKA x Ibaraki Fair" starts today at AKI-OKA! There are many contents such as sweet potato sweets, potato picking and yaki-imo (baked potato) experience!

AKI-OKA x Ibaraki Fair" is being held at "AKI-OKA," an elevated facility between JR Akihabara and Okachimachi stations, for a limited time starting today, October 13, 2023.

AKI-OKA x Ibaraki Fair" is a collaborative project between "AKI-OKA" and the Ibaraki Destination Campaign (commonly known as "Ibaraki DC") currently being implemented by East Japan Railway Company.
The fair will feature a variety of events related to Ibaraki Prefecture, such as a Kasama pottery market, a hoshi-imo shrine, and a sweet potato harvesting and yaki-imo experience, in addition to a special menu of sweet potato sweets using Ibaraki Prefecture ingredients and sales of Ibaraki's famous sake and other specialty products.

During the event, "Ibaraki Digital Stamp Rally" will be held in cooperation with JR Akihabara and Okachimachi stations. Visitors who collect the stamps will receive prizes related to Ibaraki's famous products.

What is AKI-OKA?
AKI-OKA is a term coined from the initial letters of AKIHABARA and OKACHIMACHI, referring to the space under the elevated railway tracks connecting Akihabara Station and Okachimachi Station on the JR Yamanote Line.
Starting with "2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN," which opened in 2010 with the theme of "Japanese craftsmanship," the "CHABARA AKI-OKA ARTISAN" will open in 2013 with the theme of "Japanese food culture. In 2014, "Ramen Yokocho AKI-OKA GOURMET" will be opened with the theme of "Japanese Soul Food", and in 2019, "SEEKE AKI-OKA MARCHE" will be opened with the theme of "Japanese Technology". In 2019, "SEEKBASE AKI-OKA MANUFACTURE" will open with the theme of "Japanese Technology.
For a limited time only, campass, a camping practice facility, will also join the area, offering an even greater variety of attractions.
