It has been decided that the TV anime "Unwanted Immortal Adventurers" will begin airing in January 2024. In addition, the first PV and information on the theme song have been released.

The series began serialization on the web novel submission site "Shosetsu-ka Naro" (Novelist's Letter) and quickly gained popularity. The series has sold more than 2 million copies in total (paper + electronic).
The story begins when Lent, a failed adventurer, encounters a "dragon" in a labyrinth and is eaten, awakening as a "skeleton," the weakest monster of all. In order to become stronger, Lento fights powerful monsters and encounters many mysteries. It is a dark fantasy with a profound story and a well-crafted worldview.

It was announced that the opening theme will be sung by DJ/artist and music producer JUVENILE and the ending theme by singer-songwriter Mao Abe. Artist comments were also released.

I am JUVENILE and I will be singing the opening theme song "IMMORTAL" for the TV anime "The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer".
I have never released a song with my own voice, and this is the first time for me to do so.
When I was first asked to sing, I was more worried about whether I would be able to sing properly. However, after reading the original story, I realized that although the worldview is full of fantasy elements and the main character is a skeleton, the main character's struggles and determination to achieve his ambitions are very realistic and can be seen in our daily lives. I felt that I could relate to this story, and I wrote the song with a lot of energy! I felt that this was something I could relate to...!
Even if it is not what you want to be, it is worth continuing to strive toward your goal, isn't it?
That is what I wanted to express in this song. I would be happy if my own message that accompanies this work reaches as many people as possible. I am happy to have been able to participate in this wonderful work!

On December 9, 2023, an advance screening of the first and second episodes of "The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer" will be held at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas. Ten years have passed since he became an adventurer with this determination in mind. Lent has been steadily improving his swordsmanship, accumulating knowledge, and contributing to the adventurers' guild, but he still remains at the lower rank of Bronze.
Still, he dived into the labyrinth every day and continued to work hard.He discovered anunexploredarea inthe lowly labyrinth, the "Labyrinth of the Water Moon,"where he encountered a "dragon" that devoured him.
It was thought that Lent had run out of options, but somehow he regained consciousness - as a skeleton, the weakest of the demons.
