Resident Evil RE:2" and the demo version "Resident Evil RE:2 1-Shot Demo" are now available! Extreme survival with a play time of 30 minutes & only one challenge!

Capcom began distributing the "1-Shot Demo," a demo version of "Resident Evil RE:2" for PS4/Xbox One/PC, scheduled for release on January 25, 2019 (Friday), today, January 11, 2019.

Resident Evil RE:2" is a full remake of "Resident Evil 2" released in 1998 for the PS. Based on the series' most popular title, "Resident Evil 2," "Resident Evil RE:2" is an extreme survival horror film that depicts the drama and terror of extreme situations.

The "Resident EvilRE: 2 1-Shot Demo," which was released today, January 11 (Friday), is a demo version of the first half of the game that has been tuned specifically for the game.

Note that the "1-Shot Demo" play time is limited to 30 minutes and the number of attempts is limited to one.
*People who complete the demo within 30 minutes can try as many times as they wish within the remaining time.

It is up to the players to enjoy the game, whether they challenge the game with no prior knowledge or gather as much information as possible already available to clear the game. The game is a "new work that surpasses all expectations," and we hope that you will get a glimpse of it for yourselves. Also, there is a campaign to win gorgeous prizes, and new artwork that evokes the tragedy in Raccoon City and the drama that unfolds there has arrived.

You can enjoy one-time gameplay for 30 minutes. There is no limit to the number of continues within the time limit.
　Those who have completed the game within 30 minutes can try again as many times as they like within the remaining time.
You can only play the game once.
The demo will be available until January 31, 2019.


The "1-Shot Demo" is a new and innovative demo version that limits the playing time to 30 minutes and the number of challenges to one.
A special SNS campaign will be held in conjunction with the release of this demo version!
There will be two courses: a demo course in which players post their "proof" of their challenge, and a retweet course in which players can easily participate in the demo. We hope that you will post your experience of playing the "1-Shot Demo" and your anticipation for the upcoming release of the full game to win rare, not-for-sale items.
