Comment by Natsumi Haruse

For me, "Medalist" is my favorite manga, for which I look forward to its release every month, and I have been involved with it since I narrated the commercials for the first volume.
So when I heard about the anime adaptation, I was so excited that I got goosebumps.
I am very grateful to be able to play the role of Inori, the coolest girl ever, and at the same time, I feel a great sense of responsibility.
I am a clumsy person, but I will do my best to stand on the ice with Inori-chan with my heart pounding in my chest.
I would be happy if the people who watch the anime become interested in figure skating, and if it gives them the courage to do their best tomorrow.

Tsukasa Meiuraji (CV: Takeo Otsuka)

He is a 26-year-old who has competed in the All-Japan Championships in ice dancing, but is worried about finding a job after he retires.
Having started skating in junior high school, he empathizes with Inori's situation, and inspired by her passion, he takes on her as a coach.

■Takao Otsuka comment

Every time I read the original work, I am moved by the many feelings conveyed in the work.
I am very honored to be able to be involved in this project as the role of Ruji Meiura.
I will do my best to bring the power and passion of this work to the TV animation "Medalist". Thank you very much for your cooperation!
