City Connection has announced that "Idol Mahjong Final Romance 4 Remaster" will be released on October 26, 2023 as a downloadable game for Nintendo Switch. Pre-ordering of the game began today, October 19.

Idol Mahjong Final Romance 4" is an arcade mahjong game released by Videosystem in 1998, and the newly announced "Idol Mahjong Final Romance 4 Remaster" is a remastered version of the game. The game features numerous visual revisions by Akatsuki Gomoku, the character designer of the original game, as well as additional visuals drawn for the PC version. In addition, the animation scenes are now in HD quality.

Players will meet potential contestants for the upcoming big event "Miss Final Romance" and challenge them to a mahjong match in order to scout them. Winning a game will reward the player with animations, and there is also an album mode in which the player can view illustrations and movies of the girls he or she has cleared. The key to success in the game is to use the points earned from winning to purchase cheating items to gain an advantage in the game.
