A trailer and synopsis for the first episode of the fall anime "Yakuya no Hitori Goto" scheduled to begin airing on October 21, 2023 (Sat) at 25:05 have been released. In addition, episodes 1 to 3 will be broadcasted at once in the first episode.

Set in the Middle Ages in the Orient, "Yakuya no Hitorigoto" (original story by Natsu Hyuga / Hero Bunko) is a mystery-solving entertainment in which a "poison tester" girl solves various difficult cases that occur in the court. Nekoneko, an apothecary in the flower district, is kidnapped and sold to the imperial palace to work as a servant girl.
One day, she hears a rumor that the deaths of the emperor's sons are caused by a curse. Nekoneko, who has deduced the true nature of the curse, goes to the palace where the queens live, and he hears the two senior queens arguing with each other.

<Story
There is a large country located in the center of the continent. There is a daughter in the imperial court, where the emperor's queens reside. Her name is Mao Mao.

One day, she learns that all of the emperor's sons are short-lived.
When Nekoneko hears that the two current sons are also gradually weakening due to illness, he becomes curious and begins to investigate the cause.
She is convinced that there is no such thing as a curse. A beautiful eunuch, Jin Shi, makes Neko Neko the poisoner of the emperor's favorite daughter.
The eunuch has no interest in humans, but his obsession with poisons and medicines is extraordinary.
Neko Neko is forced by the Imuji to take on more and more troublesome matters, but she manages to get the job done.
