Sunrise's original anime "Wataru: The Legend of Magical Heroes" will be held on January 13, 2024 (Saturday) to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the series.

Wataru: The Legend of Heroes Wataru" is a TV animation series produced in 1988 that tells the story of an ordinary fourth grader, Wataru SENBE, who is summoned to the "Shinbe-kai" as a savior, and together with a robot with the power of a guardian dragon, Ryujinmaru, and his friends, restores peace in Mount Sokai. The story is an adventure action drama that depicts the story of the restoration of peace in the Sokkai Mountains.

About "Wataru: The Legend of Heroes of Magic
The second TV series "Wataru: The Legend of Heroes Wataru 2" was broadcast in March 1990, and the third TV series "Wataru: The Legend of Heroes Super Shinigami" was broadcast in October 1997.
The story is about Wataru Senbe, an energetic fourth grader with a strong sense of justice, who is taken to the other world of Shinbe-kai and embarks on a journey with his friends as the savior of Mount Sokai, which is ruled by the evil emperor Doakdar.
