Welcome to the Classroom of Ability Supremacy" (written by Akio Kinugasa) is published by MF Bunko J. The second season of the TV anime has been broadcast since July 2022. Set in a prestigious meritocratic school where "points" are assigned to students, the story has gained popularity for its thrilling human drama among the students and its thrilling development.

Introduction

Tokyo Metropolitan High School for Advanced Education is a dreamlike school that boasts a 100% advancement rate and employment rate, and provides students with points equivalent to 100,000 yen in cash every month. However, in reality, it is a school that places supremacy on merit, where only a few students with outstanding grades receive favorable treatment.

In the third semester, Ayakoji and his classmates are promoted from Class D to Class C and head for a forest school.
There, they take part in a special examination called a "mixed training camp," in which all grades are tested together. As the name implies, the test is divided by gender, and several groups are made up of mixed classes without fail, and each group is graded on its own.
The students must cooperate with students from other classes who had been fighting against each other as enemies in order to obtain a high score, and above all, they are horrified by the rule that students from groups that fail to reach the borderline will be expelled.
