Taiyuki's Toys and Games Vol. 34 Tetsuki Transformers Autobot Jazz

This time, we will introduce the newest addition to Flame Toys' "Tetsuki Kikaku" series of movable figures, "Transformers Autobot Jazz," which will be sold at the Amiami hobby store.

Jazz is the second-in-command of Transformers, a figure so well known to Transformers fans that he is no longer known as "Jazz Second-in-Command. Some fans may even refer to him as "Second-in-Command Jazz.

Jazz is now available as a gorgeous movable figure made from a variety of alloys!

In this issue, we will introduce the "Transformers Autobot Jazz" and its accessories, along with plenty of photos!

The figure comes in a blister package.

First, let's start with the most basic figure, the one we are used to seeing in the G1 Transformers. The transforming mechanism has been omitted, and the figure is fully focused on its style as a movable figure.

The original design had the roof parts placed on the back in vehicle mode, but this time they have been rearranged into armor on the hips.

The head design gives the impression of sophisticated jazz. The design of the chest, which is the front of the car when in vehicle mode, has been rearranged from the original design to reproduce the bouncing white plate seen on the toy.

The Autobot markings have been detailed in three dimensions. The number "4" is an element that cannot be omitted as a car number attached in vehicle mode.

The head goggles and chest light are sculpted with clear blue parts.

In addition, gold, copper, and other fine painted parts add to the density of the design.

The design of the waist is based on the shape of the toy and the anime, but with some rearrangement in terms of coloring, shape, and part divisions. The red lines do a good job as accents.

The design of the legs has also been modified from the anime design to add a more functional feel.

On the back, the lid of the button battery box is screwed on. A little below the shoulder blades is a detail reminiscent of a car's tail lights and blinkers.

As mentioned earlier, the roof parts for the vehicle mode are located on the back waist.

The back of the legs are made up of curved surfaces, giving the viewer an idea of what the figure will look like in vehicle mode. The tires at the ankles, the light blue and red lines around them, and the tail lights on the heels are all designed to reflect the figure in vehicle mode.

The head is ball-jointed and can rotate about 90 degrees to the left and right.

Elbows are double-jointed. Shoulders can be lifted almost 90° horizontally. In addition, they can be rotated 360° back and forth, so they can be lifted straight up. Shoulder armor can also be raised.

At the base of the shoulder at the side of the chest, there is a forward swing axis.

It can be lightly tilted to the left or right at the waist.

This is the extent of the twist at the waist.

The waist can be tilted forward and backward.

Rear armor is also movable and can be flipped upward.

There are details on the back of the armor.

Forearms also have a rotation axis. The base of the wrist has a ball joint connection, and the wrist itself has a shaft connection.

Front and rear legs can be opened 180°.

Detailing is provided on the underside of the front skirt, which springs up when the legs are lifted forward.

Left and right legs can be opened about 90°. There is a roll rotation axis on the thighs. The left and right skirt armor also lifts up quite significantly.

The knees are double-jointed, and the armor above the shins moves in tandem.

The ankles are ball-jointed on the shin side. The frame is made of die-cast.

The ankles have excellent mobility, and the toes can be split and lifted.

Weapon can be transformed into hand-held weapon mode.

The blaster looks slightly larger than the anime version. Both left and right weapon handles are included.

Standing on one knee is a cinch. The arms are also strong enough to hold the blaster in both hands.

The weapon handles can also be used as wrists with expressions. It looks as if she is planning a little plan.

Now let's attach the door parts to both arms.

Insert the non-movable joint parts into the back side of the doors and you are ready to go.

If you attach them to the forearm joints of both arms, you can equip them like shields. Originally, these parts were used as doors in vehicle mode, and were placed on the back in toys of the time, so attaching them to the arms is an original gimmick.

The blaster is smartly positioned as a shield.

Next is the backpack.

The backpack is covered in very fine detail and can be attached to the back. The paintwork is also very detailed. The arms on both sides can be moved freely.

A blaster with stored grips can be connected to the backpack.

In addition, door parts and movable joints can be combined with ......

It is possible to have them connected to the arms of the backpack.

This completes the toy-compliant jazz of the time. For those who have toys from those days, this image may be strong.

The arm and joint parts are movable, so the door angle can be moved quite freely.

The blaster can be angled for elevation and ......

It can turn to the left and right.

The face parts can be replaced, and in addition to the standard type face, a face with clenched teeth and a face with open mouth are included. The forehead part can be detached and the face parts can be removed by sliding them upward.

With this equipment, there are a few posing options. First, an arm-folding style pose using the rolled rotation of the forearms.

Pose like a fighter by attaching open hands and fists.

Step with legs wide open, just before slamming fists into the ground.

Blaster can be attached with front and back reversed.

Jazz with his center of gravity forward, pointing his shoulder blaster at the enemy.

Yet another gimmick is built into the Jazz itself. Pressing the switches on both shoulders ......

The internal LEDs on each of the head and chest light up. This is a nice touch!

The main character is now in the style of the main character.

I'd like to pose her with her blaster, since she and her fellow blaster loved music in the G1 anime.

A pedestal is also included, which is necessary to give the movable figure a bold pose. Since the figure is made of a lot of alloy, the pedestal is also large and quite solid, and the height and angle can be changed.

These bold poses are possible thanks to the pedestal and excellent mobility.

The pedestal is also useful for dynamic poses.

Finally, there is a special move-like pose that makes one wonder if the Matrix is glowing. There are still many other poses that can be enjoyed endlessly, so please enjoy the figure as much as you wish.

Flame Toys' "Tetsuki Kikaku" series is now expanding into a wide range of poses, centering on the Transformers series. We are looking forward to seeing more characters from this series come back to life, along with some surprising arrangements!

Personally, I would like to see "Raiden" and "Fortress Maximus" with boldly rearranged style and modeling without transforming and combining.

Dear person in charge. Thank you very much for your consideration!
