SLAM DUNK" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1990 to 1996, and has been adapted into an animated TV series, theater animation, and video games. It is a milestone in basketball manga, with many boys and girls taking up the sport and scholarships being established throughout the country.

The release announced this time is a total of seven products: "STANDARD EDITION" of 4K ULTRA HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD, "LIMITED EDITION" of the same three types, and "SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION" that includes 4K ULTRA HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray. Ryota Miyagi, a point guard and the leader of the Shohoku team, always plays with a relaxed attitude and plays smartly, toying with his opponents with his lightning-fast speed.
Born and raised in Okinawa, Ryota has an older brother three years older than him.
Ryota was absorbed in basketball at an early age, following in the footsteps of his older brother, who was a well-known local athlete.
