The first episode of the anime "Demon-kun," which will be distributed on Netflix from November 9, 2023, has been released with scene cuts, a synopsis, and a countdown PV.

One of Shigeru Mizuki's masterpieces, "Akuma-kun" is a story about a boy genius, "Akuma-kun," who is one in 10,000 years and aims to create an ideal world without conflict and hunger with the help of demons and the Twelve Apostles, including Mephistopheles. Since its publication as a rental manga in 1963, the story has been adapted several times with different protagonists and settings.
General director is Junichi Sato, who served as series director for the 1989 TV anime, with production by Toei Animation and animation production by Encourage Films. The main cast includes Hiroki Kaji as Demon-kun/Urureki Ichiro, and his partner Mephisto III is played by Toshio Furukawa, who once played Mephisto II.

Episode 1 "The Devil

Ichiro Buraregi-kun, a genius who only comes along once every 10,000 years, and Mephisto III, who has both demon and human blood, are conducting research and investigation of strange things at the "Millennium Kingdom Research Institute". One day, a college student, Hina Asanagi, comes to visit them.
Five of her acquaintances died at the same time on the same day...

Countdown PV release!

Today, October 30, "Countdown PV" started to be shown on Toei Animation Channel.
The countdown PV will be shown every day until November 9, the start date of distribution of this work. In this commemorative first video, Demon-kun and Mephisto III are shown building a trusting relationship while clashing with each other.
