Character visuals, PV, and cast comments for the TV anime "Wakakun the Runaway" scheduled to air in 2024 have been released.

The story of "Wakakun the Runaway" is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" by Matsui Yuyuki of "Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro" and "Assassination Classroom" fame. It is a historical spectacle manga in which Tokiyuki Hojo, a survivor of the Hojo family, runs through a turbulent world after the fall of the Kamakura Shogunate, and is a popular work with a total circulation of over 2 million copies.

In 1333 A.D., the Kamakura shogunate, which had laid the foundation for the samurai rule of Japan, was destroyed by the rebellion of Ashikaga Takauji, a trusted retainer of the shogunate.
Having lost everything and thrown into the depths of despair, the shogunate's legitimate successor, Hojo Tokiyuki, escapes from the burning city of Kamakura with the help of a priest, Suwa Yorishige, who claims to be a god. ......
