Comment from Mirai Ito (playing the role of Mahiru Mitsuzane)

When I was asked to audition for this production, the moment I saw Hikaru-Mahiru, I didn't feel as if I had met her for the first time; there was something special about her.
When I heard that she was accepted, I was very happy and I wanted to be the best person who could understand her.
As this is an original work, I think that most of the people will be learning about this work from now on.
I was very happy when I heard the story of how the students were making something from scratch and what kind of thoughts and feelings those who are chasing their dreams are having.
We, as adults, cannot think of the problems of today's high school students as our own. The film is also a White with a pop and quirky tempo, so we were allowed to play around a lot during the recording.
I was blessed to have a great set and was able to play the role of Mahiru with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
I will do my best to express the "now" that the directors want me to convey!

Rie Takahashi (Hananonai Hananon) Comment

Finally ...... I can finally say !!!!
I've wanted to play Hananon ever since I auditioned for the role.
I want to help portray Hananai's life. I want to put everything I have into it.
It is such a destined pull that I have been enjoying myself ever since I decided to take charge of the role and since the recording began.
It is strange to say this before going on air, but thank you for meeting me, Hanazono. !!!!
Let's go together to deliver this to many people from now on. !!!!

Comment by Miu Tomiwa (Playing the role of Kiwi Watase)

My name is Miu Tomiwa and I will be playing the role of Kiwi Watase.
From the first time I saw Kiwi at the audition, I thought "This is the girl! I thought "This is the one!
When I heard the explanation about Kiwi during the first recording session, I was surprised to find that she had problems that I could relate to and that I had actually experienced before. I remember being surprised.
I am sure that as you get to know the characters, there must be some you can relate to.
There are times when I have to recall my own past, and sometimes I remember things that I don't want to remember, and I have to link them to the Kiwi character.
I hope you will enjoy the show in this unprecedented way!

Miyuri Shimabukuro (Kim Anouk Mei) comment

When I first heard the title "Jellyfish can't swim at night" at the audition, when I got to know the characters through the audition, when I heard the conversation between Mahiru and Hana⾳.... I can't express it well in words, but I felt a sense of comfort, as if the work was leaning towards me. I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way now that the recording has progressed.
It was a great treasure for me to meet these people who run through the present time with all their emotions, pain, youthfulness, and heartache.
I am itching to present it to you soon and most of all, I am looking forward to the day when I can see it! I hope that "YORUCULA" will reach many people.
