MF Ghost" is a manga work written by Shuichi Shigeno and serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2017. The total number of copies sold has exceeded 4.4 million. This time, 8 advance cuts of episode 8, synopsis, and preview movie of the next episode have been released.

In episode 8, the final race is now only in Sector 3 of the second lap, and the cars are entering the downhill.

Kanata's run into the final downhill raises another flag of interest. The 86, running downhill like a fish out of water, overtakes the Yajikita siblings, and even catches Hanninen's Lexus in front.
Kanata asks Ogata to count the time difference with the car in front.
Relying on the voice count, Kanata sprints against his invisible rival in the fog. The time that is shrinking by the second tells him that it is time to make his move.
