Yellow Submarine Akihabara Scale Shop will close on December 3, 2023! Now closing sale!

Akihabara Scale Shop, operated by Yellow Submarine, which dealt in so-called scale models such as cars, motorcycles, car washes, and airplanes, will close on December 3, 2023. The reason for the closure is the expiration of the contract with the building that houses the shop.

At the time of our visit (November 17), the store was holding a closing sale, offering a large selection of limited-availability items.

Some of the inventory will continue to be handled at Yellow Submarine's Akihabara Main Store★Mint Store, which is located on the 6th floor of Radio Kaikan.

On October 27, 2023, "Akihabara RPG Shop" operated by Yellow Submarine relocated from the same building and reopened, followed by the closing of Akihabara Scale Shop. The other stores in the same building are also expected to relocate or close in the future.

The store reopened in February 2021 at its current location from the Yellow Submarine Akihabara main store ☆mint scale floor.
