Takanori Nishikawa, who also worked on the OP of the "SEED" series, and Tetsuya Komuro, a member of TM NETWORK, who sang the theme song "BEYOND THE TIME (Beyond the Mobius Universe)" for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack", have collaborated in a dream come true.

I was honestly quite troubled by the years since the announcement of the movie version, especially with the drastic changes that have taken place in the world over the past 20 years. Rather than "what kind of music should I create," I devoted a lot of time to "what kind of feelings should I put into the work to send it out. Therefore, it was a different level of difficulty than previous productions.
I believe that my role in this work is not simply to complete the story of "SEED," but to weave together the past and present in a setting that takes the history of Gundam into account, and to connect it to the next generation. I am honestly looking forward to seeing how everyone will take it and how it will resonate with them.

It has been 35 years since I provided the music for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack" and I was given the opportunity to write the theme song for "SEED.
For me, it is a miracle. Among all the events that threaten the earth, Gundam is the light. I put my all into the production of this song. This is my first time working with Takanori Nishikawa, and I am overwhelmed by his singing ability as I expected. Please look forward to the release of the film in theaters!

It has been almost 20 years since the end of the "Gundam SEED series. When we had a meeting to discuss the opening theme for the first episode, I had an image of a song like "THUNDERBIRD". And what came up was the famous song "INVOKE. Later, it led us to the world of the work in the form of "Meteor. I feel that Mr. Nishikawa and his team's passion for Gundam came to fruition beautifully. In addition, as an actor and artist, he backed up "SEED" through various media, and I can no longer call him an ally or an onsite staff member.
This time, too, he has completed his love for Gundam, which he had laid dormant for 20 years, into a brilliant song. The highlight was the a capella rendition of the work's theme at the beginning of the song. It shook my soul. This theater version of "Gundam SEED" is a world connected to the one from 20 years ago. This song is a wonderful performance that connects the unchanged world and the changed present, and draws you into the world at once.
