Regarding "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," the latest in the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series and a completely new theatrical version scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on January 26, 2024 (Friday), Win Morisaki has been cast as Griffin Albalest, the SS member of Queen Foundation, a newly emerging nation that will appear in this film. It was announced that artist and actor Win Morisaki has been chosen to voice the role of Griffin Albalest, a new character appearing in "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM".

Griffin Albalest is one of the new characters that appeared in the recently released fourth PV, and his new power has been talked about on SNS. Morisaki-san, who created a buzz with his line "I'm going with Gundam!", will finally become a Gundam voice actor.

Character Introduction: Griffin Albalest
A member of Queen Foundation's SS Black Knight's Code. At first glance, he appears to be a daredevil, but he is highly capable.
The current monarch of the Foundation, a nation independent from the Eurasian Union, is Aura Macha Hyval.
Queen Aura's Guard, known as the "Black Knight's Code," consists of seven members, including Orphe Lam-Tao, but there is also a regular army under this group.

I was put on "Gundam" in the movie "Ready Player 1" (2018), which was the first movie that introduced me to the world as Win Morisaki, so I was surprised at first when I heard that I could participate in the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, I was really grateful for the opportunity. I had also seen "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed" before I was asked, and I am very happy to be able to appear as a voice actor in the new "Gundam Seed" series.

I was excited just watching the footage while recording and seeing the film before it was completed. I am also someone who fell in love with Gundam (MS/mobile suits), so I was excited to hear that Griffin, who I voice, will be riding in a mobile suit wearing a pilot suit.
I have no experience in piloting a mobile suit, so it was difficult to imagine how it would move when I was actually in it, but I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I think there are a lot of things in this movie that Gundam fans can look forward to. There is one line that I recently rewatched and really liked, and I was very excited when I thought, "Oh, I get to hear this again! I was so excited to hear it again. I think it's a great film, and I hope you will come to the theater as many times as you can.

I had seen Win Morisaki's memorable lines in Spielberg's films in the past, and I knew I would have a chance to work with him someday. In the years since then, while working on "Gundam Seed Freedom", I have come to believe that Mr. Morisaki could play the role of Griffin, one of the key characters in the film, in a more impressive way, and that Mr. Morisaki, who is active internationally, could bring the appeal of "Gundam Seed" to fans all over the world. I am very much looking forward to seeing Ms. Morisaki's performance in the theater. ＜PROLOGUE＞
C.E. (Cosmic Era).
An era in which genes are adjusted and there are humans who are born with superior physical abilities and brains (Coordinators) and humans who are born as they are (Naturals).
