The title of the latest "Detective Conan" movie has been decided as "Detective Conan: One Million Dollar Goryoshirube" and will be released nationwide on April 12, 2024 (Friday). A teaser visual for the film was also released.

The "Detective Conan" series continues to gain momentum, with the comics by Gosho Aoyama, the original author, reaching 104 volumes and the TV anime series exceeding 1,000 broadcasts. In addition, the film version of "Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine," released in April this year, was a blockbuster hit, grossing over 13.83 billion yen at the box office, and the total box office revenue for the film series exceeded 118 billion yen.

The title and release date of the latest theatrical version have been decided!

The latest "Detective Conan" movie is finally underway and will be titled "Detective Conan: The Five Ryohei of One Million Dollars" and will open in theaters nationwide on April 12, 2024 (Friday). The teaser visual, drawn by Gosho Aoyama, was also unveiled.

The film is set in Hakodate, Hokkaido. In the center, Heiji and Kazuha look at each other with blushing cheeks, and immediately above them, Conan's mortal rival, Kid the Phantom Thief, known as "the magician under the moon", smiles fearlessly....
In the lower left corner, we can also see "Ooka Momiji," who was Heiji's fiancee and appeared as Kazuha's rival in "Detective Conan: Karaben no Koiga" (2017), giving us a preview of a tumultuous love story that will not be straightforward.
Heiji, who has been missing the timing to confess his feelings to Kazuha because Shinichi and Ran have already confessed their feelings to him, will he finally be able to express his feelings to Kazuha in this film? What is the treasure that Kid is after in Hokkaido? What is the relationship between the Goryokaku, a famous landmark in Hokkaido depicted in the background, and the "Goryokusei" of the title?
