70,000 Showa Retro Gacha Gachas to be Gathered in Ikebukuro! Capsuleer Wacky Kaiyama's "Showa Retro Gacha Gacha Exhibition" to be held at Sunshine City from December 2-3.

Wacky Kaizan, Japan's number one capsule toy collector with over 100,000 capsule toys in his collection, will hold his first exhibition "Showa Retro Gacha Gacha" from December 2 (Sat) to 3 (Sun) at the Sunshine City B1F Exhibition Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The "Showa Retro Gacha Gacha Exhibition" is a project by Wacky Kaizan, a capsuleer in Morinomiya City, who says, "I want to create an event that everyone can enjoy together with people who love Gacha-gacha! I want to show the fun and depth of GACHA GACHA to as many people as possible! This event was conceived with this in mind. The goal was to hold his first event in Tokyo, and after raising funds through crowdfunding, the goal was met and the event was decided to be held.

The main selling point of this event is that visitors can actually purchase capsule vending machines (also part of Wacky's collection) that were once used in the Showa era, such as 10-yen and 20-yen gachas. Inside the capsules are super car erasers and kinkeshis that Wacky collected for this event, so visitors can actually enjoy the Showa era Gacha.

In addition, a 1/64 scale Wacky Kaizan figure is also available, although in limited quantities. This figure is said to be mixed in with the 500 yen gacha, so those who are interested should definitely give it a try.

In addition, products from the once-existing manufacturer "Cosmos" are also likely to be sold.

What can not be missed is the display of Wacky Kaizan's vast collection, which is not an exaggeration to say that it is his life itself!

Since we were in the middle of setting up the exhibition, we were able to see some of the items that had been brought in, although they were not on display!

A paper craft of a robot that appears in a mysterious work called "Dangum.

A huge amount of Cosmos boxes.

A plastic model of the only anime sponsored by Cosmos, "Makyou Densetsu Acrobunch" made by Cosmos.

A Bandai capsule vending machine, probably from the late 1970s.

Perfect for Insta-evidence! There is also a panel showing her face.

I'm trying to pull in girls who like capsule toys. This time, we're bringing fancy gacha items from the 1980s, which are aimed at girls. I think they will be thrilled. There will also be a corner with gacha for girls, so girls who like Showa-era retrospectives should definitely visit the show.

Wacky says, "I will be there from 10:00 to 18:00 on both days. I also have an antique dealer's license, so I can appraise any capsule toys you bring in! I will also be appraising the capsule toys brought in by visitors.

In addition, Hakoniwa Giken, a manufacturer of various types of display bases, is cooperating with the exhibition, and Wacky's collection will be displayed in an acrylic case with a UV cut rate of 99.9%.
Wacky's collection will be displayed in an acrylic case with a UV protection rate of 99.9%. "Even if the exhibits are exposed to UV rays, the color will not change, so I want people who collect retro items to pay attention to the fixtures. Although this is an exhibition of my collection, please pay attention to the items that hold the collection as well.

There is also a possibility that other events may occur unexpectedly, so you never know what will pop up at the "Showa Retro Gacha Gacha" exhibition. Be sure to visit Ikebukuro Sunshine City this weekend to enjoy Wacky Kaiyama's gacha collection!
