Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack" and "Mobile Suit Gundam F91" to appear on BS12's "Sunday Anime Theater"! Broadcasting for 2 consecutive weeks starting 12/17

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack" will be broadcast on December 17, 2023 (Sunday) and "Mobile Suit Gundam F91" on December 24, 2023 (Sunday) on BS12 Twelvi, a nationwide free-to-air broadcasting station.

BS12 Twelvi is currently broadcasting "Sunday Anime Gekijo" on Sundays at 19:00, specializing in theatrical and feature-length anime.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack," which will be broadcast on December 17 (Sun.) at 19:00, is the first completely original theater version of the Gundam series, which was released in 1988. It depicts the final battle between Amuro Ray and his nemesis Char Aznable, which has continued since the first "Mobile Suit Gundam" film in the series.


Also, "Mobile Suit Gundam F91," which will be broadcast on December 24 (Sun.), is the second original theater version following "Char of Counterattack," in which Yoshiyuki Tomino, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and Kunio Okawara, the main staff of "Mobile Suit Gundam," came together for a long time to create a new Gundam saga. A theatrical movie of "Mobile Suit Gundam" released in 1988 by Shochiku. It is director Tomino's first original feature-length theatrical film.
Amuro rides the Gundam and Char rides the red Sotheby's, and they clash to settle a long battle!
Although Amuro's life and death are unknown, it can be said that this film depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char.

The second original theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Gundam" in which Yoshiyuki Tomino, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and Kunio Okawara, the main staff of "Mobile Suit Gundam," come together after a long interval to create a new Gundam saga.

The year is 0123 of the U.C. (Universal Century). The MS of the Crossbow Vanguard, which aims to establish Cosmo Babylonia, suddenly attack the newly established colony of Frontier 4. Seabook escapes to Frontier 1 with his friends, but by chance, he boards the new Gundam F91, which his mother was involved in the development of, and throws himself into the battle.
