magipoke Akihabara Ekimae Store, a Pokémon card game specialty store, opened on October 15 in a convenient location just a minute walk from Akihabara Station.
magipoke Akihabara Ekimae Store is a Pokémon card game specialty store owned by "magi," a company that develops specialty stores for collectors such as Trekkas and sneakers. Akiba Research Institute visited the store about a month after its opening to report on the store's appeal.
After exiting Akihabara Station and heading toward the Manyobashi Police Station, you will see a sign for a Pokémon card game specialty store.
Beside Isomaru Suisan is the entrance to magipoke Akihabara Ekimae Store, which is located on the basement floor.
Go down the atmospheric stairs to ......
You arrive at the restaurant with a calm atmosphere! The wood-grain flooring and black and white interior create a casual yet elegant mood.
User-friendly store interior that is easy to understand and find
The "magipoke Akihabara Ekimae Store" has a friendly atmosphere that sets it apart from the high-end magi group stores that handle many collectible items. The store is designed to attract lightweight TCG users as well.
The cards for sale are sorted and displayed by category, making them very easy to see and find.
Inexpensive cards that can be used immediately for games are placed in the "Play Corner.
The cards that are good value for money are displayed in the special price section, and so on, according to their purpose.
Pre-priced cards are also displayed in the special price corner.
Cards in stock on any given day and new cards are also displayed clearly.
As is common at TCG stores, original decks prepared by the store are also for sale. The lineup is easy for beginners who don't know how to build a deck.
As magi is mainly a collector-oriented store, it also sells rare, high-priced products.
The lineup can meet a wide range of user needs.
Not only currently available items, but also retro cards that have already been discontinued are now available for collectors.
It's not just about buying cards! Attention to detail and presentation shines through!
Purchases of 10,000 yen or more will be packaged in an envelope with the store's logo stamped in gold foil. It is a very expensive card that you have carefully selected and purchased. The fact that the card was treated with such care must have increased the excitement of the customer.
A 1,000-yen raffle was also held. The winners of the raffle are announced to the public, so you can challenge the raffle without any worries. It is quite amazing that they do not just buy cards, but make the act of acquiring them an entertainment in itself!
Oripa, commemorating the opening of the new store, is currently on sale. The number of Oripa is limited and will be discontinued as soon as they are gone.
The "magipoke Akihabara Ekimae Store" offers a variety of products such as cards, OriPa, and raffles, etc. When making purchases, customers bring the card stating their purpose to the cash register, where a clerk will assist them.
It is nice to be able to purchase various services without having to explain "I want this" or "I want to do that," just as if you were purchasing a TCG.
The shop also has a play space, which is a nice addition to a TCG store.
The layout allows you to play games in a relaxed atmosphere.
The store is also a member of "Pokémon Card Gym," an official Pokémon card store, and plans to hold official tournaments and various events starting in December.
The magipoke Akihabara Ekimae Store, introduced here, is a TCG store with a relaxed atmosphere, clean interior, and a lineup of products and services for beginners as well as experienced players, all of which make us very happy.
It is just a short walk from the station, so why don't you visit this Pokémon specialty store?
